A Little Something

Halloween is only 23 days away.
It's time to get those treats made up for those special little goblins and ghost.
This was one of the projects at my Stamp & Go Club this month.
Thank you Erica Cerwin for the great idea — I changed out designer papers
and stamps to make this a fun Halloween treat holder.
Trick or TreatFor the base — cut 2 pieces of Basic Black cardstock 2" x 7 1/2" — score one end of
piece at 1/4".  Fold on the score lines — put adhesive on one 1/4" flap and adhere the two strips together into one long strip.
I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to punch both ends and make them "pretty".
Trick or Treat Step 1
I put Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of a Hershey's Chocolate Bar and stuck it to the inside of the holder.
Trick or Treat Step 2
Fold it up — I put a piece of 3/8" Black Ribbon through the hole in both pieces and
used a double piece of Black Baker's Twine to tie a bow around the Black ribbon.
I used the Triple Banner Punch to punch the end of the three designer papers.
One piece is 1 1/2" x 6"
One piece is 1 1/4" x 6"
One piece is 1" x 3 1/2"
Adhere the banners to the front of the candy holder.
I punched Tangelo Twist cardstock with the 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch
Then layered a 2" Black Circle
The "Trick or Treat" stamp is from A Little Something stamp set — stamp with Memento ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the 1 3/4" circle punch.
Adhere stamped image to Black circle.
The Black circle is adhered to the orange scallop with dimensionals
and the orange scallop is adhered to the holder with dimensionals (gotta love those dimensionals, right).
It would be easy to make a bunch of these special little treat holders.

Winter — The Final One

Here are the final two embellishments for the seasonal frame.
So pretty and sparkley.
Katie used the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and coordinating Snow Flurry punch
for this embellishment — ohhhh, she also used a Snowflake Element.
That adds a great element to this piece and finished off with a pearl in the center.

Katie Winter 2
Yup, just as astounding.  Lots of snowflakes and glitter.
Can you just see those snowflakes falling (I know, not yet.  But they are beautiful).

Give it a try — make one of these beauties for your home or office.
It is so worth it!!!

Tis the Season

Here is the Christmas embellishment that Katie made for the frame.
Isn't this just the cutest.  The Peaceful Pines bundle has so many possibilities with this stamp set and of course the coordinating framelits.
Katie Christmas 1And see what she did with the other side.
Katie Christmas 2
The tag from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum just sets the tree off — love it.

Tomorrow I'll show you the last embellishment — she did such a great job.
