Happy Scenes

The Happy Scenes stamp set is a very useful set — it covers fall and two winter scenes.  So very pretty — the possibilities are endless.
Happy Scenes Trees
The card base is Thick Whisper White.
Then a layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Softly Falling
embossing folder.  Using the Circle Collections Framelits I cut a circle from Soft Sky card stock.  Stamp the tree scene with Mossy Meadow ink, the dot snowflakes with Soft Sky and punch out with the 2 1/2" circle punch.
I used the 2-way Glue Pen along the hill lines and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for that snow effect.  Attach to the Soft Sky circle with dimensionals.
Attach the Soft Sky circle to the card front with dimensionals.
Stamp  Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow on the Whisper White banner with
Mossy Meadow ink — cut the right end into a banner, attach to card front with dimensionals.  I used one of the Snowflake Elements — use the Fine Tip Glue Pen on the snowflake and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  Attach to the card with Glue Dots.

Reason for the Season Poinsettia

Reason for the Season stamp set from the Holiday Catalog is great for two step stamping.  I just added the Boughs & Berries embossing folder for a little texture.
Viola — a vintage Christmas card.
The ladies at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class last month fell in love with this card.
PoinsettiaThe base is Cherry Cobbler — 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" and folded.
Then I cut another piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock — 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" and embossed it with the Boughs & Berries embossing folder.
I cut the "tags" out of Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla using the
Lots of Labels framelits.
I stamped the "A Very Merry Christmas to You" at the bottom with Cherry Cobbler ink
Then stamp the poinsettia outline with Memento ink.
Stamp the flower insides with Cherry Cobbler ink
Stamp the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink.

Attach the Vanilla stamped label to the Mossy Meadow label.
Attach the Mossy Meadow label to the card front with dimensionals.
This card was a hit!!

Silent Night

Silent Night — Holy Night — All is Calm……
That’s what this card is to me — very peaceful and calm.
It features the Jingle All the Way stamp set and coordinating Sleigh Ride Edgelits.
Silent Night EdgelitsThe card base is Marina Mist with a layer of Night of Navy.
Then I used Shimmery White card stock and the Sleigh Ride Edgelit featuring the houses.  I used the negative for this card and saved the other half for a second card.
After cutting out the houses, I ran the card stock through the Softly Falling embossing folder, keeping the bottom edge clear of dots.
Then I stamped Silent Night with Night of Navy ink.
I used one of the Snowflake Elements, the Fine Tip Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds.
Don’t you just love the sparkles!!!
