It’s a Winter Wonderland

Wonderland is an amazing stamp set.
It is so serene, calm and peaceful.
I started my Christmas card series classes last night.
I know it seems early but if we spread it out and make a few at a time
it doesn't seem quite so bad.
We will get together three months in a row and each month we make
4 different designs and 2 of each design — 8 cards total.
That means they'll have 24 cards ready to mail out by the end of November.
Winter Wonderland
The base of this card is Soft Suede.
I added a layer of Very Vanilla and a piece of the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum — this stuff is so cool — use adhesive lightly as it can show through.  I placed a glue dot behind a couple of the snowflakes along the edges.  Then I used an Oval Framelit to cut the center out.

On a second piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the trees from Wonderland in Soft Suede ink.  I added the snowflake vellum piece to the trees with dimensionals.
Stamp the banner piece — I used the bone folder to give it a bit of a wave.
Adhere the banner with dimensionals — add an Iced Rhinestone to both end.

Autumn Birthday Wishes

Yesterday was the first day of fall, so I thought this card was a perfect
way to welcome the season.
Autumn WishesThe card base is Cajun Craze with a layer of Tip Top Taupe that was embossed
with the Woodlands embossing folder.  After embossing we lightly sponged
the raised trees with Tip Top Taupe ink.
Next we stamped leaves randomly from the tree branches.
We added a banner cut from the Burlap Ribbon and adhered to the front.
Tie a small bow from Linen Thread and add one of the Into the Woods Elements.

I love the autumn colors on this color and I hope you do to.

Spooky Among the Branches

Last night was my Stamp of the Month Class using the Among the Branches stamp set.  What a great set — can be quick and easy or get as detailed as you want.
Tina 3The base of the card is Basic Black — next is a layer of Whisper White that
is embossed with the Woodlands embossing folder.  Then we added one of the
great Spider Web Doilies from the Holiday Catalog  The tag was made with a
piece of Tangelo Twist cardstock cut just under 2" x 3 1/4".  I used the
Scallop Tag Topper Punch — stamp the images.  I added a piece of the
3/8" Striped Satin Ribbon through the top of the tag and tied that with a piece
of Black Bakers Twine.  We stamped "Spooky" with Memento ink and colored the
eyes with the Tangelo Twist marker.

The ladies all enjoyed making this card.
