Acorns and Nuts

I told you last week how much I love this stamp set — Acorny Thank You.
It is so much fun and the possibilities are endless.
Fall AcornsThe base of this card is Early Espresso.
Next is a layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock and then I added a Very Vanilla layer.
I stamped the Nuts About You acorn in the lower right corner with Early Espresso ink.
I added a strip of the In the Woods designer paper on to a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock — wrap a piece of the In the Woods 3/8" Cotton Ribbon — Rich Razzleberry, around the designer paper piece.  I took a piece of Linen Thread and slipped under the Rich Razzleberry ribbon — tie a knot and then tie a bow.  Adhere to the card front.
On a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the striped acorn botttom with Early Espresso ink — punch out with the coordinating Acorn punch.  Then stamp the criss cross acorn top with Cajun Craze ink and the polka dot acorn top with Daffodil Delight ink and punch out.  Adhere the acorn tops to the bottom with dimensionals.  Then adhere the acorn to the card front.  Tie two small bows with Linen Thread and adhere to the acorns with glue dots.

If The Broom Fits…..

So I finally got to stamp with lots of new products.
Last night was my Stamp & Go Club.
I wanted to let them try out lots of new products, so we hit all
three holidays/seasons.
BroomsThe first card was Halloween.
I LOVE this stamp set — If The Broom Fits….
The card base is Basic Black cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" — score at 4 1/4".
Then I cut 1 1/4" off one side.  I added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock
inside for your message  On the front flap I added a piece of Tangelo Twist
cardstock — 5 1/4" x 2 3/4".  Next is a piece of the Happy Haunting designer paper
that is 5" x 2 1/2".  The brooms are stamped on a 3" x 3" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the NEW Archival Black stamp pad.  This is adhered to a piece of
Basic Black cardstock that is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and adhered to the front flap with dimensionals — make sure you don't put dimensionals on the right side or you'll close your card forever.  I stamped the words on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Archival Black stamp pad.  Oh, I forgot to tell you, I cut the words off the bottom of the stamp so I could use it by itself — makes stamping the words so much easier.  Cut the stamped strip in a banner on the left side — adhere to Basic Black cardstock — cut the banner shape on the black.  Last adhere the banner to the card with dimensionals.

Don't miss out on this week's Weekly Deals!!

Stamping Again

Camping is over — sorry for the upside down and side ways pictures.
I posted from my iPad and the pictures look fine on that.
When I got home and was on my computer I saw the emails — yikes.
Well at least you knew I was having fun — right.

I got home about noon — put all the camping stuff away, started laundry, took a shower — it was so hot this weekend.  Then is was time for stamping.
I prepped for Stamp & Go Club — those pictures will come later in the week.
There is still much stamping to be done.
Thanks GroupI stamped this fun card grouping last week when I was in Michigan.
This is a great set of cards to give to your children or grandchildrens' teachers.
There are all different color schemes and each card has a different way to say
Thank You.  We used the Farmer's Market designer paper on each card.
We used lots of different flower punches and different colored cardstock to create many different looks.
