Acorny Thank You

Acorny Thank You stamp set is such a great set and the price is FABULOUS.
But wait — that's not all — there is a coordinating punch AND they are both
available in a bundle.  I know — how cool is that.
Nuts About You Curvy BoxI received this cute little treat holder at the stamping event that I attended this past weekend.  It was hosted by Ronda Wade.  This was a gift that Ronda gave each attendee on Saturday (I think).
The little box is made with the Curvy Box Thinlit and Tip Top Taupe (Ronda had a great story about Tip Top Taupe — oops, wrong key punch error — she received 34 packages of Tip Top Taupe — but she made the most of it).
She stamped the NUTS ABOUT YOU image with Tip Top Taupe ink on Tip Top Taupe cardstock and punched it out with the Acorn Punch.  She then punch a circle from the Crumb Cake Corrugated Paper (so cool).  The acorn is added with a dimensional and then tied on with a piece of bakers twine.

Fall Sampler

Yesterday I said Fall was just around the corner.
So, check out the Fall Sampler we made at class last night.

We used some new products again.
Hello Autumn is from Cheer All Year.
The fall scene is from Happy Scenes — this will be one of my favorite sets from
the Holiday Catalog.
The little leaves are from A Little Something stamp set.
And last but not least — the acorn.
That cutie is from Acorny Thank You stamp set — adorable.
AND there is a coordinating punch — woohoo.
You can make flat acorns or in true "Peggy" style — add some dimensionals.
Oh wait — I forgot the Vintage Leaves stamp set and coordinating Leaflet Framelits.
They are in the Annual Catalog — yup, another bundle.
This frame was so much fun to make and everyone in class was very
happy that they came.  Their family and friends will be very impressed with them.

Fall is coming soon — Really??

We turned the calendar to September.
That means fall is coming soon — really?
Here in Illinois it was 92 degrees yesterday and is suppose to be close to 95 today.
That really doesn't seem like fall to me.
But we know it will be here before we know it.
