Hiking Stephens Falls

One more family day. Today I actually took a small hike — I haven't done that in years. We took the grandsons on the Stephens Falls hike. It was VERY warm — high temps were 91 degrees today.

At the beginning of the trail is a Spring House which was used for refrigeration. The boys thought this was pretty cool. Here are the boys standing by the spring house.

The boys wanted to push Grandma into the water. I really had to watch where they were.

Back home in the morning — time to get some stamping done. I have a very busy couple of weeks coming.

Camping instead of Stamping

No stamping for me this weekend — it's camping time with family.
Here's a few pictures to share with you. I'm with my father-in-law,
my son & grandson (daughter-in-law and granddaughter stayed home),
my daughter & two grandsons. We had day visitors too — my niece, her
husband and son and my nephew.
Look how cute the kids all look together.

The big girls had to get in the fun too.

Acorn Note Pad

This is another gift I received from Ronda Wade.
Isn't this cute??
It would be a perfect fall gift for male or female.
I will be putting it on my desk and work for all to be jealous of.
Sticky Note Holder

WooHoo — Tip Top Taupe Cardstock is the base.
Cut 3 1/4"  x 8 1/2" — score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"
Cut a 2nd piece of Tip Top Taupe 3 1/4" by 4 1/4"
This piece gets adhered to the top (the 2 1/8" section) so when folded
flat it covers the whole piece and you can decorate the front.

She added a strip of Farmers Market designer paper to Very Vanilla cardstock.
Stamp the acorn with Tip Top Taupe on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out
with the Acorn Punch.  Adhere with dimensionals.
Don't forget to add the linen thread bow with a glue dot.
