Your Presents

At Convention last month we all received a brand new stamp set from the
upcoming Holiday Catalog (best catalog yet).
Yesterday we had a Team Meeting where we designed a couple of
make & takes using this new stamp set.
It is such a versatile set — you can change colors to create
birthday cards, welcome new baby cards, bridal shower or wedding cards.
Your Presents JoyThe card base is the Thick Whisper White (I love this for the card base — no
more flimsy cards).  We added a tiny strip of new designer paper to the bottom edge.
We did the "kissing" technique on two of the presents.
What is the kissing technique — watch for a quick video coming soon.
Check out the tiny bow tied from the fabulous Silver Thread.
Don't forget to decorate the one present by gluing on a few silver sequins.

Butterfly Gift Card Holder

This card was one of the favorites at my "Going Wild" Class earlier in the week.
The prints in the Go Wild DSP Stack are wonderful.
It looks like your card has texture before you do any stamping.
Butterfly Gift Card HolderThe base of the card is Tip Top Taupe — 4 1/4" x 11".
I scored it at 2", 7 1/4" and 7 3/8".
What makes the latch — time to get out your Envelope Punch Board.
Put the larger end of the card (not the 2" end).
Line the edge up at the 1" mark and punch, flip your cardstock over
and line the other edge up at the 1" mark and punch.  Pretty cool, huh.
For the inside gift card pouch, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock
at 4" x 7" and score at 1 3/4" from one end and 3/8" on the other end.
Put Tear and Tape Adhesive across the 3/8" end.
Lay this piece inside the folded card, putting the 3/8" end at the top, right
up to the top score line.  Remove the adhesive strip and close the card.
Decorate the card front.

At convention last week we learned how to do a video.
So, this card will be my first video.
Watch for it to come very soon — my deadline to post it is August 15th.

Zebra Boom Boom

I LOVE this card!!
The color combination is great.
The zebra print with the Melon Mambo accents just pops!!
You Make My Heart Go Boom Boom — this reminds of the Bruno Mars song.
Boom Boom ZebraI used the Groovy Love stamp set (both hearts, the love circles and the boom-boom words all came from the same stamp set).
The hearts have a coordinating heart punch — makes life so simple.
This card is loaded with lots of texture looks — love it.
