Have a Snappy Day!

Yesterday I told you how much fun the You're Sublime stamp set is.
Today's card is using the crab from this stamp set.
He's such a cute guy.
This card is for my son-in-law — thought it would cheer him up.
He had his appendix out yesterday and wasn't in the best of moods last night.
I thought I would say HELLO and try to brighten his spirits.
Snappy DayMy sister, Tina Rappe, did this card last month for class.
I loved the layout so decided to make a couple of small tweaks to
share with you.  The card base the Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I added a strip of Go Wild designer paper on the left.
I used the Triple Banner Punch for the three banners — love that tool.
I stamped the "A Happy Hello" from the Tin of Cards stamp set using Memento ink.
Stamp the crab image from You're Sublime with Stazon ink.
I used an Aqua Painter and Watermelon Wonder ink to color him.
Punch him out with a 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  I used the Circle Collection Framelits
to cut out a Basic Black circle to layer under the crab.
This is a fun card to have on hand to send to cheer anyone up.

Wheelbarrow full of Thanks

This was the favorite card at my Stamp & Go Club classes this month.
The stamp set surprised the ladies — not what they thought.
The stamp set is "You're Sublime".
This is such a fun stamp set — so far I've used three of the four images in the set.
The only one I haven't used yet is the crab but I think I can share him with you tomorrow.
Loads of thanksThe card base is Basic Black with a layer of Whisper White.
Next we added a layer of Blushing Bride that was embossed using the
Elegant Dots embossing folder.
The designer paper used is Timeless Elegance — such pretty paper.
I used an Aqua Painter with the Blushing Bride ink to lightly color
the tulips on the designer paper.
The image is stamped with Stazon ink and colored with
markers or ink pads and Blender Pens or Aqua Painters.
I prefer the Aqua Painters but some of my ladies prefer Blender Pens
to get the different shades in their flowers and some of them preferred
to color with markers.  All of their cards were wonderful, which ever coloring
option they chose.

Pretty Prints Birhday

The Pretty Prints designer paper stack is fabulous!!!
I love the color combinations — I know I've said that a lot since the Annual Catalog
came out, but I really do.
Pretty Prints BirthdayThe base of the card is Watermelon Wonder.  I added a layer of
Whisper White cardstock.  Next I adhered the designer paper to Basic Black
cardstock for a color block look.  I stamped Happy Birthday from the Happy Birthday Everyone stamp set, which is a Host Exclusive stamp set — woohoo.
I tied a little bow from the White 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon and adhered that
to the card front with a glue dot.
The ladies loved this card at my Stamp & Go Clubs Monday & Tuesday.
