Happy Hello

I have one last Garden in Bloom sample for you (for now — you know I will be using it lots more in the future).
Flowers & Bee HelloThis card was fun.  They all loved the color combination.
The base is Delightful Dijon with a layer of Early Espresso.
We stamped "A Happy Hello" from the Tin of Cards stamp set (you all need this stamp set) with Early Espresso ink.  Stamp the bee (he is adorable) with Early Espresso ink too.  Next we stamped the flower outline and then the flower petals with Delightful Dijon ink stamped off.  Don't forget to stamp the extra inside petals with full strenght Delightful Dijon ink.  The stem and leaves outline was stamped with Old Olive ink.
The inside of the leaves was stamped with Old Olive stamped off.
You really could whip out a bunch of these cards with many different sentiments in no time at all.

Floating Butterflies

This card was fun — when was the last time you stamped on Vellum?
Butterfly TagThe base of the card is Melon Mambo.
I added a 4" x 4" piece of English Garden designer paper.
I laid a 4" x 4" piece of Vellum Cardstock over the designer paper and
stamped three butterflies using the Garden in Bloom stamp set.
I love the three step stamping of the Garden in Bloom stamp set.
On the Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower outline with Memento ink.
Next was the flower petals using Melon Mambo ink stamped off.
Then I used the smaller flower petals stamp with full strength Melon Mambo ink.
I wrapped Silver Three around the banner piece and tied a not.

Have you fallen in the love with this stamp set yet?
I have one more sample for you tomorrow.

Don't forget you can get a FREE tutorial for another great way to use this stamp set.

Garden in Bloom Flowers

Wouldn't you love to receive this pretty Thank You note.
It is so bright and cheery.
Flower Squares
The card base is Wild Wasabi.
The designer paper is Calypso Coral from Subtles Designer Paper Stack.
We stamped Sending Many Thanks from the Petite Pairs stamp set
with Memento ink.  Next we stamped the flowers on three 1 7/8" squares of
Whisper White cardstock — stamp one in the upper left corner, one in the lower right corner and the last one in the lower left corner — this way when you adhere to the card front you won't be covering up much of each flower.
I tied a bow using the Wild Wasabi 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered to the cardf front with a glue dot.  Hmmm…who to send this card to.
