Convention 2015 Final Day

Yesterday was the final day of our Stampin' Up! Convention 2015.
As you read this I am on my way back home filled with excitement.
Here is another celebrity "photo op" — Brian Pilling is Head of Communications.
He does awesome presentations usually with Bonnie Farley.

Convention ended at about 12:30 Saturday — it was a fabulous 3 days.
Those of us at Manager and above had a little extra training in the afternoon.
We had a boxed lunch (thank you Stampin' Up! for the gluten-free options this week).
During our lunch break Stampin' Up!'s President Rich Jutkins was standing near
the food lines so I took this opportunity for one final celebrity picture.

The afternoon was full of inspiration and thoughtful, tearful moments on
how to have an energy efficient life.  I know, something I need to work on this year.
Thank you Stampin' Up! and Jenna Glover for the inspiration.

We had a nice dinner with our team members at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse — yum…..
As we are packing our suitcases so we are ready to go bright and early in the
morning, Tina had to stop for a moment to take a picture of Katie (my daughter).

Tomorrow I'll get back to posting card samples and plenty of cards from
the swaps that I participated in.

Convention 2015 Day Two

Yesterday was day 2 of the Stampin' Up! Convention.
The doors opened to music and plenty of dancing.
We are always on the "look out" for the Stampin' Up! celebrities.
The rest of our group was roaming around and look who I found,
Bonnie Farley.  She is a wonderful, hysterical woman who works at the
home office.  We LOVE when Bonnie does a presentation.
She is so funny and makes everyone feel at ease.
Of course I had to have my picture taken with her.
Bonnie FarleyNext General Session started.  Shelli Gardner's (the CEO and Co-Founder of
Stampin' Up!) daughter, Sara Douglass gave a very moving talk.
She had everyone in tears — great job Sara.

There were marches (walk across the big stage) for Getaway and Grand Vacation
achievers.  Here is Tina and I as we come down the stairs.  The nice young man
helping this old lady down the steps was Shelli's son-in-law Jason.

Prize Patrols started — WOOHOO.  All six in our group ended up winning a
Prize Patrol today.  We can't show new product yet but I think the Ornate Tag Punch
covers the stamp set enough — Amanda, Katie and I all won a new Hostess stamp set and the punch.

One day left tomorrow — so sad that it's almost over but I'll be coming home
with lots of energy and ideas.

Convention 2015

Convention 2015 started Wednesday with a trip to the Stampin' Up! home office
in Riverton, UT.  This beautiful atrium is what greets you when you enter
the home office/distribution center — isn't it fabulous.
RivertonYesterday started the convention presentations.
We started in Main Stage with the unveiling of the Holiday Catalog.
I can't share it yet but you are going to LOVE it.
We broke for lunch and then into smaller groups for Make & Takes and
Demonstrator Presentations.
We finished up just before 5:00 p.m. — fast break for dinner and changing
clothes for Awards Night.  The theme this year was the Roaring 20's.
Many people dressed up — it was so cute.
Check out my daughter Katie Campbell with Brian King – adorable.

During Awards Night, they honor top demonstrators in different categories.
This year my sister, Tina Rappe and I both earned the
Achievers Bonus and walked across the stage.
Then came the BIG announcement — who earned Founders Circle.
Founders Circle is a 5 day retreat for the top 100 demonstrators
It is a very special honor to be part of this group of demonstrators.
Tina and I BOTH earned it this year.

We had our fingers crossed but we were stunned when I names went up
on the big screen.  We both screamed, cried and hugged.

This stamping year has been awesome.
Thanks to all of my customers, downline and friends for all of your support.
