Butterfly Trio

Last night was my Stamp of the Month Class.
This month we featured the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set.
I saw a card similar on Pinterest and made a few little tweaks.
ButterfliesThe card base is Watermelon Wonder.
(I have finally convinced by friend Gail that this is a great color).
The next layer is Cajun Craze.
The Whisper White layer was scored using the Simply Scored Tool at
1/4" on all four sides.
Next I stamped THANKFUL from Another Thank You stamp set using
Watermelon Wonder.
The butterfly outlines were stamped with Soft Suede ink.
The insides of the butterflies were stamped with Watermelon Wonder,
Lost Lagoon and Crushed Curry ink.  Each butterfly was inked, stamped off,
and then stamped.  The smaller inside wings were stamped with the same color
full strength.  I added White Perfect Accents between the butterflies.
The ladies loved this card.

Order this stamp set and a few other goodies and not only can you make
this card but I'll email you a tutorial for four more cards FREE.

Bumblebee in the Flowers

This month's Stamp of the Month Class features the
Garden in Bloom Stamp Set.
This card was from a convention swap and thought it would be a
good way to start the week out.
BeeThis card was an inspiration for one of the cards we are doing in the class.
I just love the little bee in this stamp set.
The base is Thick Whisper White cardstock with a layer of
Delightful Dijon and Soft Suede.
The flower outlines are stamped with Soft Suede ink.
Then the inside flower was stamped with Delightful Dijon that was stamped
off for a lighter shade.
The label in the center was cut using the Tags & Labels Framelits.
The cute little bee was stamped, punched out and adhered to a
scallop circle.  Take a piece of the Gold Thread and wrap up (or ball up) and
and stick to the back of the scallop circle.  Adhere to the card front using dimensionals.

Don't forget this month's special gift is a tutorial using the Garden in Bloom stamp set.

Every Blessing

Have you started thinking about Christmas yet?
How many Christmas cards do you send out?
Everyone would love to receive a hand-made Christmas card this year,
so let's get started now to ease the stress.
Many of us like to send some religious cards for Christmas — after all, that's what the season is all about.  This card features the Every Blessing stamp set.
Every BlessingThe card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White.
I stamped the Bible verse at the bottom of the card with Night of Navy ink.
I added a piece of Night of Navy 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and a piece of
1/4" Silver Ribbon across the center of the card.
I stamped the shepherds and sheep image with VersaMark ink and
used Silver Embossing Powder to heat emboss it.
I used the Deco Labels Framelits to cut out the stamped image.
I added a circle of Silver Foil cardstock behind the Deco Label and
"popped it up" with dimensionals.  Last I added a star that was punched from the
Silver Foil cartdstock and also "popped up" with a dimensional.
How many of these cards are you going to make!!!
