A World of Thanks

I've been saying lots of thank yous lately to all of my friends and customers.
This is one of the Thank You cards we made at Stamp & Go Club last night.
When the Annual Catalog came out back in June, I fell in love with this stamp.
It's called "A World of Thanks".
There's just something about it — I don't know what it is.
I ordered it right away and then it sat on my shelf.
I kept pulling it out but didn't quite no what to do with it.
I checked out Pinterest, of course.  I saw a few samples but some that I liked
just took too much time.  Then I came across a very simple card that Teri Pocock has posted.  I love the simplicity of it.  I changed colors but kept the layout the same.
Here's my version of the card.
World of ThanksThe base of the card is Pink Pirouette with a layer of Basic Black.
I inked the stamp with Pink Pirouette ink and stamped on Whisper White cardstock.
Then I pounced the embossing buddy all over the white cardstock and
stamped the THANK YOU from Another Thank You stamp set using
VersaMark ink and sprinkled Black Embossing Powder over it.
Heat it with your Heat Gun to melt the embossing powder,
adhere the layers together.  That's it, sweet and simple — no dimensionals either.

A Camping We Will Go!!!

I'm not a great outdoor person.
So when I tell people that I love to camp, they are quite surprised.
I think that's why I liked this card that I received in a swap.
The camper is from the You're Sublime stamp set — adorable!!!
CamperThis demonstrator also used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set for the trees and clouds, along with the Tree Builder Punch for the dimensioned cloud.
And YES, she did cut the camper out by hand — no punch, no framelit.
I think this is just a FUN card — it definitely says summer.

When is the last time you went camping???

Don't forget I have a special gift to email you when you place a $35 order from my online store.

Christmas in August???

Yesterday I showed you a card we did at our Team Meeting.
This is the other card they all made.
It uses the Your Presents stamp set again.
This card looks like Christmas.
We did the "kissing" technique again on this card.
Your Presents OranmentsThe card base is Cherry Cobbler.
The square base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Whisper White.
We added banners from the Season of Cheer designer paper and
Dazzling Diamonds cardstock.
The lower right ornament was inked with Cherry Cobbler ink and stamped off,
then stamped.  The "joy" is inked with Cherry Cobbler (full strength) and
stamped over the ornament.
On a scrap of Whisper White we stamped three more ornaments (each with the "kissing" technique) and punched them all out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.
These three ornaments are attached with dimensionals, but don't forget
to stamp the ornament tops before adhering them.
