Last night was my Awesomely Artistic stamp class.
Everyone got the stamp set and made four cards.
There are so many possibilities when using this stamp set.
The first card is an Easel Card.
The card base is Island Indigo with Smoky Slate layers.
I used the Regals DSP Stack to layer on the Smoky Slate cardstock.
The flower image was stamped with Stazon and colored
with a blender pen and ink pads — Island Indigo for the flowers,
So Safron for the flower centers and Old Olive for the leaves.
Blackberry Wild Flowers
Blackberry Bliss and Wild About Flowers.
That's today's combo.
I used the Wild About Flowers stamp set and the Fresh Market DSP
The designer paper I used is from the Fresh Market DSP.
I'm not much into the fruit side of the paper but the opposite side
has great options — two gingham patterns and a few other fun prints.
My card base is of course Blackberry Bliss. I added a layer of
Very Vanilla and then the Blackberry Bliss Gingham DSP.
I added a 3" x 3" square of Blackberry Bliss to the card front
with dimensionals. On a 1" x 2 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla I stamped
"you made my day" from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.
I tucked this piece under the Blackberry Bliss square.
On another piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the leaves of the flowers
with Pear Pizzazz and the flowers with Blackberry Bliss.
Then I punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.
This is another Fast & Fabulous card.
Order your stamp set and designer paper now and you could have
a bunch of cards made lickety split.
Doughnuts for your Birthday!!!
Another new stamp set — Sprinkles on Top.
Do you like sprinkles on top of your doughnuts?
My daughter does a fun thing for her boys birthdays.
The morning of their birthday, she greets them in bed with a
doughnut cake — candle and all and she sings Happy Birthday as
she carries it into their bedroom.
What is a doughnut cake — she piles mini doughnuts into a pyramid
to create a cake. The boys LOVE this new tradition.
This card reminded me of this event (and we had a birthday on Thursday so the
timing was perfect).
The base of the card is Bermuda Bay with layers of Basic Black
and Watermelon Wonder. On the Whisper White layer I stamped
Happy Birthday with Stazon ink and then in the lower right corner
I stamped "hope it's sweet". Next I added the two strips of
Everyday Chic Washi Tape.
I cut my doughnut stamp apart into 4 separate doughnuts (that way I could
make each one a different color — no two doughnuts alike you know).
After I stamped the doughnuts with Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry,
Cucumber Crush and Bermuda Bay I punched them out with the 3/4" circle punch.
They are adhered to the card front with dimensionals of course.
