When it the last time you stamped a reflection card?
I decided it had been way too long, so at my Moon Lake Stamp of the Month Class
one of the cards used the reflection technique.
The water in this stamp set makes it the perfect set to use.
We started by stamping the cat tails with Stazon ink.
Next we stamped the duck/loon image between the cat tails.
Then we used a piece of Window Sheet and stamped the duck/loon on it using
Stazon ink, quickly turn the Window Sheet over and line up the bottom of the duck/loon. Rub over the stamp image to transfer the ink on to the Whisper White cardstock. The transferred image will me lighter than the original image but that's
ok, it's a reflection. Then we used an Aqua Painter and ink from the lid of the stamp pads to color the images. This time I left the duck/loon black & white so it looks like a loon to me, remember I told you before I'm not really a nature person but that's ok.
Boating on Moon Lake
The boat and tree image from the Moon Lake stamp set and so calm and peaceful.
I'm not much of a nature person, but I love to go out on a lake and just sit.
The water is so calming. I do like to fish a little but if it is sunny and calm I could just sit there all day and enjoy the quiet.

The base of this card is Black with a layer of Pool Party that was embossing with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (yup, another retiring item).
I stamped the boat & tree image with Stazon ink on Watercolor Paper.
I used an Aqua Painted and picked up ink from the stamp pad lids to color in the images — start light and add more color until you are happy with the look.
Each and every time your picture will come out different — that's the cool part of
water coloring, especially when you use Water Color Paper.
Masculine Birthday
Moon Lake is a great stamp set for those masculine cards that we all need.
My Stamp of the Month Class this month featured the Moon Lake stamp set.
We made four fabulous cards that work great for those men in your life
but they also work for all the nature lovers that you send cards to.
The base of the card is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Whisper White that I stamped it's your day from the Fabulous Four stamp set. I stamped the cat tails with Pear Pizzazz ink on a layer Pear Pizzazz that is mounted on another layer of Mossy Meadow. I stamped the duck on Watercolor Paper and punched out with the 2 1/2" circle punch and mounted on a circle of Basic Black that I cut out using the Circle Collection Framelits. I adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
