Who likes to count calories or carbs when it's your birthday!!! So I say Carbs Schmarbs — eat the cake!!
How long has it been since you made a shaker card? It's been a long time for me so I decided it was time to have some fun.
Wednesday night was my Sale-a-Bration Celebration. You had to earn an invitation to this exclusive party. One of the gifts that everyone received was a package of Shaker Frames (oh no, they are retiring — get them quick before they are gone).
The Shaker Frames help make this card pretty quick to make. I cut one of the Shaker Frame pieces into four chunks and put them on the back of the Smoky Slate cardstock going around the circle opening.
I added a pinch or two of the In Color Sequins (yes, they are retiring too), added a second piece of Window Sheet over the Shaker Frame and Sequins and attached the layer to the card base. So much fun — everyone enjoyed making this.
The stamp set is Amazing Birthday.
Elegant Birthday Butterfly
I love this color combination — Blackberry Bliss and Pear Pizzazz!!!
This card features the Butterfly Basic stamp set and coordinating Butterflies Die Thinlit.
The base of the card is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. The top layer is Whisper White and I started by stamping the ferns using Pear Pizzazz ink. I inked up the ferns once and stamped it three times moving the stamp to the right a little bit each time.
Next I stamped the Happy Birthday using Blackberry Bliss ink. Then I inked the border stamp once and stamped it twice. I stamped the butterfly with Blackberry Bliss ink and cut it out with the coordinating thinlit. I attached it to the card with dimensionals. Tie a small bow in the Blackberry Bliss ribbon and Viola — card is done.
Sale-a-Bration Celebration!!
This was a big celebration for those who joined my team, hosted a party with me during Sale-a-Bration, or placed orders that totaled at least $150 during Sale-a-Bration.

Here are some of the ladies waiting for everyone to arrive. There were 23 in attendance and we had such a great time.
I forgot to take picture of the snack table — I put out a "snack shack" for them that had glass jars filled with wonderful chocolate treats. I also had brownies and cheesecake bars on a tray for them.
I had three make & takes for everyone to make, but the room was too full for everyone to stamp at once …..hmmm…what should we do.

Here's some of the ladies stamping away. What did everyone else do…check it out.

We played a few rounds of Stampin' Bingo — everyone had a great time and they loved the gifts they received when they "hollered" BINGO.

This is one of the Make & Take cards that everyone made.
Don't you just love the Spring Flowers embossing folder!!
And I've already told you that I love the Mother's Love stamp set. That's where the flower came from. I colored it in with the Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi markers.
Don't forget to check out the retired list in my Online Store.
