Pistachio Pudding Designer Birthday

I love the look of texture on a card.  This card delivers plenty of that.  I received a card like this in a swap at our Leadership Conference back in January.  I loved the layout and use of designer papers.
Circle BirthdayThis card features Pistachio Pudding cardstock and designer paper.  Pistachio Pudding is one of the In Colors that will be leaving very soon.  I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder on the Whisper White layer.  The designer paper circles are punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch.  The flower punch is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack — I love this punch pack.

Your 29 again and I’m only 110 lbs. — Just Kidding!!!

The Just Kidding stamp set is fabulous.  Sometime I think the sarcastic stamp sayings are just mean but I love the sayings in this set.  There are humorous and just plain fun.  The lady in the stamp set has great attitude.
Just KiddingI saw this layout on Pinterest that I thought was great.  I changed the colors — this is Crisp Cantaloupe on of the 2013-2015 In colors that will be retiring in just 2 weeks.  Don't wait for the Retired List to come out on April 21st — order it now so you have it.
The dotted DSP is also retiring — it's the In Color DSP Stack — 12" x 12" sheets of 4 different designs.  I stamped the "lady" on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Memento ink and colored with markers, then punched out with the 2 1/2" circle punch.  This piece is mounted on a piece of Baked Brown Sugar cardstock (which is also retiring).

The Calypso Coral piece is 2" x 4 1/2" and I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to decorate the top edge and then added a piece of Calypso Coral 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon that I tied in a knot.

The outside of the card says Happy 29th Birthday and the inside says From Your 110 lb. Friend — adorable.

Another Birthday Bash!!

The Birthday Bash DSP has some great prints — the one on today's card is my favorite.  I like the color combination and the design.
Birthday BashThe card base is Whisper White with a layer of Tangelo Twist and a layer of one of the Birthday Bash designer papers, then another Whisper White layer that has been embossed using the Hearts embossing folder.  Three hearts were punched from Tangelo Twist cardstock using the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch.  The Happpy Birthday stamp is from Label Love stamp set, stamped with Tangelo Twist ink and punched out with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch.
