Love You More Than Chocolate — Really??

Love you more than chocolate — can that be possible???  This card was made using a great photopolymer stamp set that was introduced in February called Lovely Amazing You.  The font in this set is awesome and one of them says "love you more than chocolate".  All I can say is — that's a lot of love.  Since this card is pink, I think it would be perfect to send to my mom or my sister.  They both know how much I love chocolate.Love More Than ChocolateThe base is Strawberry Slush with a layer of Black and a layer of Whisper White.  I added a layer using a piece from the Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  I used "green" glue under the hearts to adhere the vellum on to the Whisper White layer.  I used the Cupcake Party stamp set to stamp the candy wrappers (they are really the cupcake bottoms).  The chocolates are punched from Early Espresso cardstock using the small oval punch.  I stamped the words and cut out with the Circle Framelits and layered that on a 1 3/4" circle of Early Espresso.

I love this card.

Painted Petals Canvas Art

Last month I did a class using the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Canvas Creation "paper".  It is hard to call this paper because it really is canvas.  Everyone loved the project so much that I thought I would share another project using the Canvas Creation "paper".
Painted Petals Canvas
This was one of the make & takes at Bingo Monday night.  I bought frames at the dollar store — yes, it was only $1.  I started with a piece of Black cardstock and added a layer of Sahara Sand that I embossed with the Spring Flower Embossing Folder.  I added another layer of Black cardstock and then the layer of Canvas Creations.

I stamped the leaves from the Painted Petals Stamp Set with Pear Pizzazz ink twice and then stamped the flower petals with Rich Razzleberry ink twice.  Then just take an Aqua Painter and lightly "paint" over the stamped images — this blends the color to fill in the canvas holes some and brighten the images.  This is such a cool technique.  You really need to order some Canvas Creation "paper" and give it a try.  The possibilities are endless.
