10th Anniversary Special

10th Anniversary Special!!

Today, April 6th I am celebrating my 10th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
I can't believe that it has been 10 years already.  I have enjoyed every moment and have made many very good friends.  I became a demonstrator because I loved to watch the look on a customer's face when they complete a project they didn't think they could do.  That feeling of accomplishment is fabulous.  That is still my favorite moment as a demonstrator.

I would like you all to celebrate today with me.  I am holding a drawing and the winner will receive this fabulous Ribbon Holder that my husband built.  It is made from solid oak and is approx. 18" tall x 15" wide.  It has four trays to hold your rolls of ribbons — there are no dowels to deal with.  You simply pick up the ribbon you want to use and put it back into the trough when you are finished.  This also makes it very simple to replace your rolls of ribbon.  I have 64 rolls of ribbon in mine and check it out — there is still room for more rolls of ribbons.  This beautiful piece would look great in any stamp/craft room and it could be yours!!!

Hexagon Hive Birthday Wishes

Hexagon Hive Birthday Wishes
This month's Big Shot class was using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit — so much fun.  I think the customers were surprised.  I had my first man at a stamp class — Jose did a great job.  He really showed the ladies how to do it.  I saw a card like this on Stampin' Connection (I think — sorry don't know who designed it) — I changed up the colors and designer papers.  I loved all the different elements on this card and Strawberry Slush (one of the 2013-2015 In Colors) is one of my favorite colors.  We used the Decorative Dots embossing folder from the Sale-a-Bration brochure as the background under the Hexagon Hive piece.  Then we added the "punch outs" from the Hexagon Hive with dimensionals on top of the solid spots.  We also added some flowers that were punched out with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  Final touches were adding Candy Dots and Pearls — so pretty.  Jose did a great job with all the little pieces.

See — the guys can stamp too.

So Very Grateful — Project #3

So Very Grateful Easel Card
This was the third card we made in this month's Stamp of the Month class.  It is an easel card — it folds down flat to mail it and then the recepient can prop up the picture for display.  We use a doily behind the stamped image which I think adds a special touch to this card.  I cased the layout for this card from fellow demonstrator Julie Davison, making a few slight changes to make it my own card.  I hope you enjoyed this stamp set as much as I have.  Watch for cards this week using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit from my Big Shot class.
