This is the second card that we made at my Stamp of the Month Class. I love doing different fold cards and I believe I cased this fold from Linda Bauman. It just give the card a different look — the little flap on the left side of the card lifts up to expose the panel of Whisper White cardstock to write you message. I used the Distressed Dots Embossing Folder from Sale-a-Bration brochure. The flower image is colored in using markers. Another card that is quick and easy with a fun look.
So Very Grateful
I love the simple elegance of this stamp set — So Very Grateful — it can be found in the Occassions Catalog. So Very Grateful was my Stamp of the Month set at class last night. For this card we stamped the image with VersaMark stamp pad on Watercolor Paper and used Black Embossing Powder. Then we used lots of stamp pads and Aqua Painters to watercolor the image. I love using the watercolor paper — I feel like an artist when I use it — it makes watercoloring easy for anyone to do.
Check back tomorrow for another card that we made at my Stamp of the Month Class.
Card Tin
One of the projects at our Stamping Sisters Retreat was this decorated card tin. We even made divider tabs for the inside so you can put your cards in the tin by categories — birthday, sympathy, thank you, etc. Or what a great recipe card holder this would be.
Don't you just love this Retro Fresh DSP and coordinating Washi Tape
