Beauty of the Season Tag

Beauty of the Season is a new stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Catalog that is available for purchase during July.  If you don't order is now you have to wait until August 28th to order it.  Check out this fabulous tag that Jenn Gross, one of my team members, created.  Isn't this beautiful.  Jenn colored the cardinal using the brand new Blendabilities — so pretty.

Convention Swap Card

One of the things that a lot of demonstrators do at convention is card swaps.  You make a bunch of the same card and you swap for other card ideas with the other demonstrators.

I ran out of time this year to make swaps but my upline and sister, Tina, was in an organized swap.  All the ladies met for lunch (which I was able to attend).  They took a break during eatting to line up in the hall way and swap cards with each other.  She came back with approx. 50 different card ideas.  This is the card that Tina made — I was lucky enough to get one of them.  Isn't it a beautiful card.  She made the background of the card with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and ink sponged onto the folder.  Such a great idea.

Convention Goodies

I made it home safe & sound — a bit exhausted but not too bad.  It was good to be home to see my husband, son-in-law and grandsons.  My daughter was with me at convention — she has been a demonstrator for almost 9 years.  She and her family and staying with us for a short time — they have just moved back home — they have lived in Anchorage, Alaska for the past 5 years and they decided it was time to be back with family again (yeah for me).  They are in the process of purchasing a home but are staying with us until they close and can move in to it.  My daughter accepted a music teacher position in Delavan, WI so they will be nice and close to us.

Oops, I guess I got a little side tracked — as I said convention was one of the best ever.  Check out all of the goodies I received in just a few short days.  Peggy's Convention Goodies
