Polka Dot Balloons

The Celebrate Today bundle includes the Celebrate Today stamp set and the Balloon Framelits.  I love that we can quickly cut out lots of balloons.  This card is one I made at the Shoebox Swap last month.
Celebrate BalloonsThe balloons were cut out with the framlits and then I stamped the dots with VersaMark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  The base of the card is Blushing Bride with a layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Large Polka Embossing Folder.  A Soft Sky banner was added down the center front.  The balloons are scattered in a bunch on the card front with dimensionals.  I stamped Celebrate with Island Indigo ink and adhered to the front of the card and added a blue button to finish the card off.

Painted Petal Point Card

I love special fold cards — they seem like such a treat.  When I was at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference last month a fellow demonstrator, Pat Ertman, gave my sister, Tina Rappe, a card to say thank you for a little gift Tina sent to Pat.  The card Tina received had this fold.  I thought it was great to share at my Fast & Fabulous Card Class last week.
Painted Petals Point FoldYes, this card really is Fast & Fabulous.  The base of the card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" of Melon Mambo.  The designer paper point are from the Back to Black DSP.  I cut the DSP 2 1/2" x 4" and scored the long edge at 1/2".  Then you create the point by folding the top corners at an angle to touch the score line.

Adhere the 1/2" scored edge to the back of the Basic Black layer and attach to the Melon Mambo card base.  Add a layer of Wild Wasabi which I stamped the inside words on.

I used the Painted Petals stamp set to stamp the leaves/stems in Wild Wasabi ink and the flower petals in Melon Mambo ink.

Here is the inside of the card:

To a Classic Birthday Greeting

Happy Birthday to a Classic — I think this is a perfect saying for a Masculine card.
Happy Birthday ClassicThe stamp set featured on this card is Guy Greetings.  I am really enjoying working with this stamp set.  The base of the card is Cajun Craze with a layer of Natural Ivory cardstock.  I used the Adventure Bound DSP Stack for the plaid and dotted layers.  I added a piece of the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon to cover the DSP seam and give the card a little more dimension.  I stamped the car with Early Espresso ink and the Happy Birthday with Cajun Craze ink on Natural Ivory cardstock.  I sponged Early Espresso around the edges.  This was adhered to a Cajun Craze layer and attached to the card front with dimensionals.  I stamped To a Classic with Cajun Craze ink, sponged the edges with Early Espresso and adhered that to the front of the card with dimensionals.
