Celebrate Your Birthday with Cake

I am really loving all the new product from the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.

This is the second card that the ladies did at my Hostess Appreciation Party Wednesday night.

Celebrate with CakeThe card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of Basic Black and then Whisper White.
The stamp set is a FREE Sale-a-Bration set called Big Day. I stamped the cake and candle in the lower left corner using Crushed Curry Ink.  The stripes are a fun new product called Washi Sheets — it's like the Washi Tape but it comes in 6" x 12" sheets.  There are four different colors/prints and you get two of each sheet.  You can use it to cut out balloons with the new Balloon Framelits or any of the other Big Shot items.  Here I cut it into 1/2" strips and applied it like Washi Tape.  The black cardstock is also a new item — Chalkboard Paper.  It is heavy duty and one side feels like a chalkboard.  I used the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch to punch out the tag and stamped the "Celebrate Your Birthday with Cake" using the new Rose Coral Chalk Ink Pad — so cool.  It really does look like you used pink chalk.  The ribbon is a FREE Sale-a-Bration item — Best Year Ever Accessory Pack.

So are you ready to start earning those FREE Sale-a-Bration items yet.

Love You Hostesses

Last night was my yearly Hostess Appreciation Party.  This is my way to say Thank You to those that have hosted a Stamping Party with me or have been a Club Member.  Not everyone could attend the event but those that were able to make it had a great time.  Here's some of the ladies that attended as they are eating their dinner
Hostess Party
We had Chopped Chicken Salad, French Bread, Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Desserts and beverages.  YUM, YUM!!

Love You

This is a stepped up version of one of the cards everyone made.  I wanted them to see the brand new epoxy stickers from the Occasions Catalog.  I love that they change their cards up a bit to fit what they like.  Check out the variations of my card.

Love You -- SherylThis is Sheyl's version.  She wanted a smaller section of punched out hearts so she changed the direction of her card which gave her more white space, so she added more hearts.

Love You -- PeggyThis is Peggy's version.  She also changed the direction of the card and added more hearts but she also stamped the LOVE YOU words more times.

I really like all three versions of this card.

Be Mine

The Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration
catalogs.  I can't wait for you to start playing with all the fun goodies.

Here's a Valentine Card I made using just a few of the items.

Be MineThe base of the card is Whisper White with a layer of Basic Black cardstock.  The next layer is one of the new Sale-a-Bration Designer Papers — Irresistibly Yours.  This designer paper is all white and there are embossed images (this piece has scallops), you can sponge ink to change the color of the paper.  The embossed image resists the ink so it remains white.  There are so many possibilites with this paper.
The black & white banners is from Stacked with Love Designer Paper Stack — love it.  One side of the paper is Real Red or Crisp Cantaloupe and the other side is Black & White.
The stamped image is from You Plus Me (I am using this stamp set later this mont for my Stamp of the Month Class — you get the stamp set and the Stacked with Love Designer Paper Stack).
The cute little bow on the front is a new punch — Bow Builder Punch.  It is very easy to use and you can create lots of little bows in no time at all.
