Stars & Snowflakes

This home decor item is so stunning & beautiful.  This picture is my first sample.  I did make some adjustments for the final project but I forgot to take a picture of.

Candle Gift SetThis wonderful project is made using the Vellum Cardstock.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Trendy Trim stamp set using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed it using Silver embossing powder.

Next I punch the top edge of each candle using the Confetti Stars Punch found in the Holiday Catalog.  Fold on all scores lines.  Then I added sticky strip to the 1/2" edge and assembled the candle boxes.  I added small pieces of sticky strip to close the boxes.  I used glue dots to adhere the 1/8" Silver Ribbon around each box and addeda box to one corner for the front

Add a battery operated flicker tea light candles to each candle box and you are done.

See, I told you, quick & easy.  Go do some stamping today.

Santa French Fry Box

The French Fry Box Die is one of my favorite dies.  You can make adorable treat holders in no time at all.  This was one of the choices customers chose from at my Christmas Buffet Gift Class last week.

Santa Treat BoxWe used a half sheet of Real Red Cardstock and cut out the French Fry Box.  We glued  the sides together using Stampin' Up!'s Tombow All Purpose Glue (aka Green Glue).  Next we glued on the black belt (1/2" x 8 1/2" strip).  The belt buckle is punched from Silver Glitter Cardstock using one of the Itty Bitty Accents Labels Punch and the Petite Curly Label — glue the buckle over the belt.

Santa's arms are punched using the Large Oval Punch and Real Red Cardstock.  The "fur" on the arm is the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Cardstock — I used the 7/8" Scalloped Circle Punch and cut it in half for both arms.
Hands are punch using the Small Oval Punch and Whisper White Cardstock.

I filled a 4" x 6" Cello Bag with Hershey Kisses and tied shut using 1/8" Real Red Ribbon.

An adorable way to greet guest at your holiday table.

“Life is Good” Note Pad Holder

This fabulous note pad holder was another item at my Christmas Buffet Gift Class.  Inside this beauty is a 3" x 5" note pad.  The receiver of this gift would think of you every time they wrote a note.

Note Pad HolderThe base of this project is Crumb Cake.  It's scored into three sections with the note pad adhered to the middle section, the right side folds over and then the left side folds on top of that.  I added a layer of Soft Suede cardstock and then Melon Mambo dotted designer paper on top of that.  I add a tab with a piece of velcro to hold everything closed.  On top of the tab is a scalloped circle and then a Melon Mambo 1 3/8" circle.  I stamped Life is Good from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Remember This stamp set and punched that out with the 11/4" circle punch.  I added a Soft Suede and Melon Mambo banner to the top left and a butterfly from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

You could whip out a bunch of these and give out as Christmas gifts at the bank, post office, grocery store — anywhere you while you are out and about.  What a great treat for an unexpected receiver.
