Eat Cake

Yesterday I posted pictures from our Team Meeting on Saturday. 
We had one Make & Take for everyone to make using the
brand new stamp set that we received at the Occasions Catalog Kick Off Party.  I showed you the baby card I made from the set.
Here is the card Tina designed for everyone to make.

Eat CakeIsn't this cut adorable.  The base of the card is Coastal Cabana with a layer of Chocolate Chip and then a layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Distressed Dots embossing folder.  We used the Note Tag punch to punch an opening in the Whisper White layer.  We another another piece of Whisper White cardstock that we stamped the "tag" on to with Chocolate Chip ink and then used markers to color — Chocolate Chip, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and So Saffron.  Adhere this stamped piece behind the opening at attach all with dimensionals.  Another quick & simple card.

Shadow Box Village

We had a team meeting/Christmas Party yesterday. What a grea time I had. We had three demonstrations — making bows, making a box with the gift box punch board and the scalloped tag topper punch and Watercolor Embossing Folder. All three demonstrations were great. Look how cute these designer paper bows are:

We also had a gift exchange. Everyone was required to make an item using Stampin' Up! supplies, wrap it up with a new on it. Then we played a little game and everyone received a gift. This is the gift I made.

It was a wonderful way to start the Holiday Season. Then a quiet night at home with hubby watching Polar Express.

Welcome New Baby

Wednesday night I attended an Occasions Catalog Kick Off Party. That's right the Occasions Catalog premier is right around the corner. You will receive your copy in just a couple of weeks — ordering begins on January 6th. As we were leaving the Catalog Kick Off Party we each received a new stamp set along with our copy of the Occasions Catalog and a Sale-a-Bration Brochure — you guys are going to love this new catalog. See how much I love mine.

The new stamp set we received is called One Tag Fits All — very cute images. Here's a quick card I made yesterday before I left for work.

My boss became a grandpa for the first time. I needed a baby card to go with the gift, so I quickly made one. The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Lullaby DSP. I stamped the "Ducky" with Memento ink and colored with Blendabilities. I stamped the tag with Baked Brown Sugar and punched out with coordinating punch. Then I stamped the words with VersaMark and embossed with White embossing powder. I added a Crisp Cantalope banner and popped the "Ducky" up with dimensionals.
