Snowman’s Warmest Wishes

Mr. Snowman is wishing you the Warmest Wishes!!!

Snowman Warmest WishesThis was one of the cards we made at last night's Fast & Fabulous Class.
The cardbase is Cherry Cobbler.  Then I added a layer of Island Indigo cardstock that was embossed using the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  I stamped the Warmest Wishes image from the Christmas Bliss stamp set.  The snowman head is cut from Whisper White cardstock using the Circle Collections Thinlit.  I added eyes and a nose.  Last, but not least I added the scarf because no snowman can be without a scarf during these frigid days.

Last night's class reminded me of why I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator over 10 1/2 years ago.  I love holding stamp classes and watching everyone's excitement.

This class had two new ladies that have never stamped before.  It was a mother & daughter team.  Kathy, the mom, kept saying I'm not creative and can't do crafty things.  It was so fun to watch her excitement at each card table.  She squealed out loud many times during the evening — love it!!!

Check out the smiles on their faces while holding their favorite card of the night.  I just LOVE this!

So share your love of stamping with a friend that "can't be creative" and help me share the joy of stamping.

"BEE" CREATIVE!!!  That's my motto.

Operation Support Our Troops

Last night was my stamping event to help support our Military Personnel.  Eighteen ladies joined together to stamp 60 Christmas cards that will be included in the donation boxes.

Loading BoxesMaria is dropping off her donations while Robin tries to organize the boxes a little.  Robin started collection the donations 3 years ago.  Last year we combined forces, Robin, Tammy and I held a stamping night where I designed cards for the ladies to stamp and send to troops all over the world.  Robin called a couple weeks ago to see if I was interested in doing it again this year so I put it on my November class list.  The class fee was bring the items on the donation list and any extra cards they had at home.
Donation BoxesThis was shortly after we started.  Robin ended up with 8 boxes filled with donation items and 1 box filled with cards.  It was a very successful evening.

Christmas Bliss

With the snow flurries we've had the past couple of nights this card is perfect.  There are plenty of pretty, sparkly snowflakes.

Christmas Bliss
The base of the card is Island Indigo with a layer of Smoky Slate that I embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  I added a Rhinestone to the center of each snowflake.  I stamped the Christmas Bliss with Island Indigo ink.  The banners are All is Calm Washi Tape that was adhered to Whisper White cardstock and the ends trimmed with the hexagon punch to look like a banner.  The final touch was added the All is Calm Snowflake Charm and I even added a Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake for a little more bling.
