Irresistible Blooms – Hooray it’s Your Day

I have a fun card to share with you today — Irresistible Blooms – Hooray it’s Your Day!!
It features the Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper and Irresistible Blooms Bundle.
This paper is so pretty with a couple of different color combinations you get quick
cards that are stunning and will really wow the recipient.

Measurements:

Flirty Flamingo – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2” – score at 4 1/4″; 1 5/8” x 4 1/8”; 2 pieces – 1 3/8” x 2 3/8”
Basic White – 2 pieces — 4” x 5 1/4″; 3” x 3”
Hello Irresistible DSP – 1 1/2″ x 4”; 2 pieces – 1 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

Instructions:

Fold Flirty Flamingo card base on score line
Emboss one of 4” x 5 1/4″ Basic White with Basics 3D Embossing Folder (hash taggy one)
Adhere to card front
Adhere second 4” x 5 1/4″ Basic White inside card
Adhere Designer Papers to coordinating Flirty Flamingo pieces, then to card front
Die cut 3” x 3” Basic White with Stylish Shapes Dies – 2nd largest
Stamp “Hooray, it’s your day” with Gray Granite ink
Adhere to card front
Die cut flower from Designer Paper – attach to Basic White circle with Dimensionals
Add three small Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels

Cabin Fever – Wreath of Blooms Framed Art

Here’s another optional class from Cabin Fever – Wreath of Blooms Framed Art.
I think this was my favorite project. When the Wreath of Blooms Kit came out my first thought was
this would be perfect for a framed art project, then I saw Robbie Susan post an 8″ x 8″ framed art and
knew this had to be a project for Cabin Fever. I worked with Robbie Susan’s layout but changed to an
8″ x 10″ frame, changed to Abigail Rose Designer Paper and added the Dreams phrase from the
Covered in Sunshine stamp set. They received a package of Iridescent Pastel Gems to add a little
bling to the framed art. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and so did my guests who decided to do
this optional kit. Thank goodness I had a couple of extra kits prepped for those who needed to add
it the day of the event.

Card Sketch Challenge – Circle Sayings

During last night’s FB Live I shared April’s Card Sketch Challenge – Circle Sayings.
I gave some sneak peeks at new product coming in the Annual Catalog on May 2nd.
The colors are fabulous, the designer papers I was able to order are fun with interesting
color combinations, prints and textures.
I quickly made a few samples using the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Paper.
There is very little stamping on these cards, the designer paper did all the work.

Then I shared April’s Card Sketch using the beautiful Countryside Inn Designer Paper
and the Circle Sayings Stamp Set and 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. This is a fun Card Sketch, I hope
you’ll give this month’s challenge a try!!!

These are the colors in the Countryside Inn Designer Paper.
I love the monochramatic look, it’s quite sunning.

I started with Night of Navy card base, then added an embossed layer of Boho Blue.
The designer paper pieces are matted with Night of Navy, then added to the card front.

MEASUREMENTS:
Night of Navy — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
1 5/8″ x 4 1/8″; 2 pieces — 1 3/8″ x 2 3/8″
Boho Blue — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3″ x 3″
Countryside Inn DSP — darker piece — 1 1/2″ x 4″
Countryside Inn DSP — lighter pieces — 2 pieces — 1 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
