Autumn to Remember Framed Art

Our second Fall Fest project was an Autumn to Remember Framed Art. I used the Autumn to Remember Stamp Set and the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Paper & Sticker Sheet to create this adorable framed art.

The Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Paper & Sticker Sheet made this project quick and easy but full of lots of Fall colors. I put this piece into a Shadow Box Frame so the more depth the better. Each layer is added with Dimensionals to give lots of depth. AUTUMN is circle stickers that were added to a layer of designer paper with Dimensionals. The Crushed Curry leaves die cut with the Autumn Leaves dies and a Linen Thread bow for a perfect finishing touch.

Come back tomorrow to see Fall Fest Project 3

Playful Ghosts Halloween Treats

It’s time to share my Fall Fest projects — first is the Playful Ghosts Halloween Treats Holders. I had so much fun with these projects using the Playful Ghosts Stamp Set and Halloween Spells Designer Paper.

Halloween means some candy treats, but I also wanted to find some other treats that weren’t candy or sweets. We started with a Tootsie Roll holder. This little box holds 4 junior Tootsie Rolls. The flying witch ghost is so cute and I added a row of pumpkins to the front.

Next is the BOO ghost popping out of a jack-o-lantern!! This box holds a mini paint pallet and little notebook for painting in. Don’t you LOVE it.

The third project is awesome — a box with the flying witch ghost that holds a mix packet and frosting for a Cake in a Mug treat. This was a big hit for everyone.

The final project brings back childhood memories for most of us — a fun vampire box that holds a Kaleidescope. Do you remember using these when you were little?

I hope you enjoyed these fun projects, I had such a blast designing them. A PDF tutorial is available if you would like to make these projects yourself — the cost is $10. Message or email me if interested.

Fall Fest 2024

Fall Fest 2024 was a huge success. This is an event I host every year and my daughter, Katie, comes to help and participate. Here she is ready and waiting to greet everyone and get lots of hugs!! We decorated all the tables with fun Black & White checked tablecloths it coordinated so well with the bags everyone received.

Their bags were also Black & White checked. Doesn’t it look so fun!!

We had 4 people to a table so they could work together on the projects.
Here is a closer look at an individual work space.

The tote bag was filled with all the supplies they needed for the 4 classes plus an extra take home project to keep the fun going. In front of the bag was their first gift of the day. The box is decorated with the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Paper and the Autumn to Remember Stamp Set. Inside the box is a Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle to their projects.

Gift #1

Everyone started working on the 1st project, a set of Halloween Treat Holders (I’ll share those tomorrow or Friday). As they were working on the project someone saw in the tutorial that they needed to add some embellishments, but didn’t have them — time for their 2nd gift of the day.

Gift #2

Inside this holder was three different packages of embellishments they would be using on their projects, two ribbons (1/4 of a roll each) and a sheet of Dimensionals. I decorated this with the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Paper and the Autumn to Remember stamp set. Can you tell I am loving these two items for Fall!!

We worked on two projects in the morning, then took a break for lunch and did two more projects in the afternoon. Between the afternoon projects, I thought they needed a little treat so we passed out these cute mini loaded envelopes that held a Chai Tea and a mini cookie. I used the Take a Bow Designer Paper and the Humble Home Bundle.

Gift #3
