Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Project 1

Today I want to share Stampin’ Sisters Retreat first project.
This fun card set features the Witty-Cisms stamp set and Best Dressed Designer Paper.

For this card set we used the same layout for every card but changed out the designer paper and stamped image.  The designer paper is Best Dressed DSP, it is 6″ x 6″ and each piece is adhered to a coordinating color and popped up.  We also used the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

Card 1 used Daffodil Delight cardstock to help accentuate the DSP.

Card 2 features Mint Macaron.

Pretty Peacock is the coordinating color for card 3.

As each birthday approaches, time definitely flies!!!
Blackberry Bliss made the perfect mats on card 4.

I just love this strawberry card.

Card 7 is great for the men in your life.
Old Olive worked great for the cactus.

And we finished up with an adorable card for that special someone.

All seven of the cards were stamped with Memento ink and then colored with the Stampin’ Blends.

Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2020

This weekend was our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2020.
This was our 14th year of hosting “Sisters Retreat” and it was the best!!
We had 92 wonderful stampers from Friday night at 7:00 p.m. until Sunday at noon.
Here is the room all set up and waiting for our friends.

Everything is “top secret” until we open the doors Friday night and let them in.
This year’s theme was buffalo checked and it was definitely a hit.

Tina is on the left and I am on the right.
Tina made this adorable sign to great everyone as they came into the room.
We made shirts for our event this year with our team logo
“Stampin’ Sisters — a little sister time is good for the soul”
and a band of buffalo check is under that — so adorable.

Tina does a great job of incorporating a theme into each year’s retreat.

Everyone received a bag with all of their supplies for the weekend.
This year’s goodie bag was phenomenal — it’s a travel cooler and so cute.
It was definitely the hit of the party!!!

We had a gift for all our first time attendees (aka Newbies)!!!
Who doesn’t like chocolate, right!

And then we had two ladies that have never missed a Stampin’ Sisters Retreat.
Alona & Tammy have attended all 14 retreats — WOW.

We had approx. 26 team members join us for the weekend.
It’s so awesome to spend time with them like this.

Thoughtful Blooms Meets Honey Bee

We used the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color some of the flowers on the designer paper.
We stamped the leaves with Old Olive, a flower with Daffodil Delight and punched with the
Small Bloom Punch.
What a great way to coordinate these products!
