I love the Magnolia Lane Suite but there is another stamp set that coordinates with this suite that you won’t find in the Annual Catalog. The Magnolia Blooms stamp set can be found in the Experience Creativity brochure that is geared toward new stampers. It’s a small brochure with just a few stamp sets/kits so it isn’t so overwhelming. This great brochure has a few exclusive stamp sets that can’t be found in any other catalog and the sets are amazing!!! What makes it even better is Stampin’ Up! has created kits from these stamp sets. The Magnolia Blooms Kit is the stamp set, note cards with envelopes, Clear Block D, 2 Stampin’ Spots (mini ink pads), and a Snail Adhesive — everything you need to make 10 cards with envelopes and have a stamp set, block and inks left to use over and over.
Today’s card features the Magnolia Blooms stamp set with the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper and I have some directions for you for this missing middle card. I hope you have as much fun with it as I did.
Measurements:
- Petal Pink: 5 1/2″ x 6 3/8″ — score at 4 1/4″; 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″; 2 7/8” x 3 5/8”
- Mossy Meadow: 2” x 5 3/8”; 1 1/8” x 5 3/8”; 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- Whisper White: 4” x 5 1/4″; 2 5/8” x 3 3/8”
- Magnolia Lane DSP: 1 7/8” x 5 1/4″; 1” x 5 1/4″
Instructions:
- Fold card base (5 1/2” x 6 3/8”) on score line – attach 4” x 5 1/4″ Whisper White to inside of card
- Attach Mossy Meadow pieces to Petal Pink (card top 2 1/8” x 5 1/2″, 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 2 7/8” x 3 5/8”
- Attach two designer paper pieces to Mossy Meadow mats
- Stamp “Happy Birthday” in lower corner of 2 5/8” x 3 3/8” Whisper White with Memento ink. Stamp flower with Memento ink.
- Color flower with Petal Pink & Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends
- Highlight under the flower with Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend
- Lay 1 1/4″ layers at bottom of card keeping edges even
- Attach stamped flower layers with Dimensionals (don’t put dimensionals in center of layers or you’ll close your card shut)
