Birthdays are Best with Noble Peacock

Love, Love, Love!!!  That’s all I can really say about the Noble Peacock Designer Paper and Foil Sheets.  I love the colors, the textures and the shine.  For this card I paired the papers with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set which is another of my favorites.

This is one of my favorite folds.  The base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″.
Then cut on the score line to 2 1/2″ – turn card and cut from edge to score line at 2 1/2″ — this removes the
2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece on the right hand side.  I love layers so I added a 2 3/4″ x 4″ foil mat, 2 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ designer paper.  The greeting has 3 layers also.  For the flowers, I inked the stamp with Bermuda Bay and Old Olive markers and cut it out with the Layering Circles Dies.

Birthdays Are the Bests Days

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  We spent the weekend with our kids and their families in Minneapolis.  My son and family just moved into their new home.  They moved from a 700 square foot home to an almost 2,500 square foot home — WOW, what a difference.  They still have some unpacking to do and some furniture shopping to fill their new home but we had a great time all being together at his house, that could never happen at the old house.

Now it’s time to get back to stamping.  I have a fun, fast & fabulous card for you today using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and lovely shades of purples.  This is my favorite purple combination — Highland Heather and Purple Posy, they coordinate so well.

I also used the new 3/8″ Tricolor Ribbon which is Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Purple Posy — love it!!

Time for Tags Happy Birthday

I had fun playing with the Hostess Stamp Set, Time for Tags.  What a great set and the price is fabulous, but remember you have to be a hostess to order the stamp set.  There is even a punch to go with the stamp set, Timeless Label Punch – love that coordination.

There are images for birthday, baby, congratulations, welcome, gifting — something for every occasion.  The images are simple which allows you to give your card a fun background.

For this card I used the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder — isn’t it a fun background.  I paired it with the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper in Bermuda Bay.  The Black cardstock helps the card “pop”.  You have to give this card a try — simple but stunning.
