Spirited Snowman is Skating Downhill

Oh my gosh — I love this Spirited Snowmen stamp set!!!  No, I’m not ready for winter yet, but look at how cute this guy is skating downhill.

The Festive Farmhouse designer paper gives the perfect starry background and a little spritz of the Frost White Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol on the hill makes it sparkle like snow.  The little tag is cut using the Farmhouse Framelits — great tag framelits in this set.

I stamped the snowman with Memento ink and colored it in with Stampin’ Blends.  Unfortunately there isn’t a framelit to cut out the snowman but it isn’t a bad fussy cut.

Making Christmas Bright

Yes, it is still September and the weather is warm but I am thinking Christmas cards.  Each year I hold a Christmas card class in September, October and November.  We make 10 cards at each class (5 designs, 2 of each design).  If you attend all three classes you will have 30 cards ready to mail by December 1st — how is that for planning!!!

Each month there is mystery product included in the class.  This month everyone received the Festive Farmhouse designer paper and baker’s twine.  This designer paper is fabulous, I love the Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Gray Granite color combination.

Here is the first card we made, it features the Making Christmas Bright stamp set and the Light Bulb Builder Punch.  Everyone thought this card was a bit tedious but loved it.  The punch does all the work for you – just stamp the bulbs and bulb toppers, punch out and attach toppers to bulb with Glue Dots.

Country Lane Framed Art

The Country Lane Suite is a wonderful mix of products with a rustic look.  This project is from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla and was designed by my sister Tina.  It shows many of the products from this fabulous suite.  I’ve shared many times before how much I love to make framed art pieces so this was a great project.

I love the shadow box frame that we found — it fits the picture so well.  The Tin Tile Embossing Folder provided a great background for the milk can filled with flowers.  We put chicken wire elements behind the “Simply Thankful For All The Good Times.  This was by far the favorite project of the day.
