Country Lane Suite is SO FUN!!!

Oh My Goodness — what a fun suite the Country Lane is.  I told you yesterday the products are amazing and they definitely are.  Last night was my Suite Surprise class which featured the Country Lane suite.

We made three cards that showcased the wonderful designer paper.  I wanted to keep the cards simple with just a greeting or phrase and I think this worked great.

I would never have guessed that Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze coordinated but look at how pretty this is.  The greeting is very simple and meaningful.  The greeting is layered over Early Espresso and Mint Macaron cardstock which has a layer of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon that I colored using the Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend.  If you aren’t using Stampin’ Blends yet, you are missing out.

Here’s another pretty card – great color combo — Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive.  I turned the Chicken Wire Embellishment over and used the white side for this card.

Come back tomorrow — I’ll share one more card and the framed art that we did.

Country Home with Tin Tile Embossing Folder

I have one suite that I didn’t share with you from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla — Country Lane Suite.  Tonight I have a class featuring this wonderful suite filled with amazing products.  I wanted to wait to share some of Kim’s fabulous designs along with what I did in class — so come back over the next week as I share some of these amazing projects.

This first card definitely says Fall to me — Cajun Craze is just wonderful for the base of the card.  Look at all the texture in the background — it was done with the new Tin Tile Embossing Folder, it is another “must have” embossing folder.  It’s hard to see the detail with the glare of the Clear Envelope but it looks just like the old time ceilings.

The images were stamped with Memento ink and colored in with the Stampin’ Blend Markers.  These markers make it so easy to color.  More texture on the card with the Galvanized Metallic Paper that is also embossed with the Tin Tile Folder.

Trick or Tweet Witch Dog

Adorable – that’s the best way to describe this card.  This was another display board card from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla.  I love the Black or Gorgeous Grape color combo.  The stamp set is Trick or Tweet — love this dog dressed like a witch.  The Toil & Trouble Designer Paper gives a nice coordinating background.

The bats are punched with the new Spooky Bats Punch and Silver Glimmer Paper.  The Classic Label Punch is perfect for the little Trick or Treat stamp.
