Doggy Treats Anyone???

As you are planning your Halloween treats for the kiddies don’t forget to plan for those puppies in your life.  Today’s treat holder is perfect to tuck some dog bones or puppy treats in for that special pet.

Kraft Pillow Boxes, Trick or Tweet Stamp Set, Toil & Trouble Designer Paper
Isn’t this just the cutest!!!  Now of course if you don’t have any dogs who would like a treat I’m sure the kiddos would love this too but put some kid friendly treats in the pillow box — don’t give them doggy bones (hahaha).

Toil & Trouble Baker Boxes

I’m shooting for Halloween treats all week long — let’s see if I can do it.  I’ve said it before I love making 3-D projects and treat holders are the best.  Treat holders used to mean candy holders but as we are all trying to get healthier, a treat holder could hold almost anything and that’s part of the fun now to see what kind of goodies you can find.

Today’s treat holder features the Baker’s Boxes from the Holiday Catalog — page 49.  There are 8 — 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ boxes in a package for just $7.  These boxes are 2 1/8″ deep so they hold a lot of goodies.  This box was from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla Shoe Box Swap.  It was designed by team member, Sandi Johnson.  She filled the box with adorable specialty cookies that she had made just for the occasion.

Toil & Trouble Designer Paper, Cauldron Framelits, Halloween
I love Sandi’s color combo of Black, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape.  The little witch and hats were cut from the designer paper with the coordinating thinlits.  She also used the Spooky Bats Punch to add some bats to the boxes.  The Black Foil cardstock is perfect for the spider web.

Nice job Sandi — everyone loved it.

I have the perfect card to share with you on this first day of October (a little World Card Making Week inspiration).  The weather is cooling down, the leaves are starting to change color.  I love the Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry color combo.  This card has lots of wonderful layers and the Artisan Texture stamp set was perfect for the blotches of fall color.
