Around the Corner & Tufted Embossing Folder

Today I have a fun card for you.  I used the Around the Corner Stamp Set with the Stamparatus for an adorable birthday card.  I added texture to Lovely Lipstick cardstock using the Tufted Embossing Folder — so cute.

Around the Corner Stamp Set, Tufted Embossing Folder, Glitter Enamel Dots, Birthday
The Whisper White piece was stamped with the Stamparatus — put the cardstock in the corner of the Stamparatus.  I put the corner stamp on one plate — ink stamp with Granny Apple Green stamp pad and stamp on cardstock — put tulip stamp in place on the Whisper White cardstock, close second Stamparatus plate to attach stamp — ink with Lovely Lipstick stamp pad and stamp.  Turn cardstock 90 degrees and repeat — it goes very quick.

I used the Lakeside Framelits to cut the black banner and trimmed banner ends on the Happy Birthday banner and attached Granny Apple Green glitter dots to each end.

Happy Anniversary with Animal Outing

Wow, where does the time go.  Saturday was Tony and my anniversary — 39 years.  We went to Door County for some dedicated time together.  We stayed at a wonderful Bed & Breakfast — Chanticleer Guest House in Sturgeon Bay.  I’m not good at selfies but here’s a quick picture of us after we arrived at the B & B.

Friends Are The Best!!

Friends are the best!!  Have you met a friend for lunch and lunch lasts for 4 hours.  That friend is there for you to listen, give advice but most importantly to support you.  I made this card in my Stamparatus Class to show the round & round technique.  I love the greeting — friends are flowers in the garden of life.  I definitely agree and this card is for my friend Barb.  She is always there for me — thank you!!

A Big Thank You Stamp Set, Scalloped Striped Embossing Folder, Stamparatus, Round & Round
This was a fun card to make.  I used the new Scallop Striped Embossing Folder on the Whisper White layer — love this new folder.  Stamping the flowers in a circle is quick and easy with the Stamparatus.  First take a square of cardstock and the Layering Squares Framelits — place the largest square in the center of the cardstock and cut out – save this square — turn cardstock 90 degrees and cut again.  Your cardstock will look like this.

Stamparatus, Round & Rouond
Lay this square on your Stamparatus and put the saves Whisper White square in the opening, place stamp right under the triangle opening – close one of the hinged panels to attach the stamp — ink stamp and close panel — turn square 90 degrees, ink and stamp — repeat all the way around turning the square 90 degrees each time.  Stamp the phrase in the center.  I added Rhinestones to the center of each flower.

I love the way this card turned out – I hope you do too.
