Tuscan Vineyard with Subtle Embossing Folder

I have a fabulous combination of Stamparatus techniques and new products.  I loved a card my sister, Tina Rappe, did using the Stamparatus.  I think it showcased one way to use this wonderful new tool.  I used the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set — such a beautiful set and reminds me of our trip to Italy two years ago.

Tuscan Vineyard Stamp Set, Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, Subtle Embossing Folder, Stamparatus
Before the Stamparatus we had to use markers to get different colors on a stamp.  This worked but sometimes turns out lighter than what we want.  Well, the Stamparatus to the rescue.  I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock in the corner of my Stamparatus and then used a Sponge Dauber with Pool Party stamp pad to apply ink to the top of the stamp (sky) and stamp on white cardstock – clean stamp with Simply Shammy and then with a new Sponger Dauber, ink center section with Blackberry Bliss, stamp, clean and then ink with Mossy Meadow using a new Sponge Dauber.  What a great way to get three different colors on one stamp and it blends together so nice.

Now we move on to the row of corks.  It is so simple to get the stamped images lined up perfect — yup, Stamparatus time.  I put the Mossy Meadow cardstock into the corner of the Stamparatus and placed my cork stamp in the left hand corner and close Stamparatus lid — open and ink with Mossy Meadow ink and Sponge Dauber, stamp, pull plate out of hinges, move down one hinge – ink and stamp again and repeat to bottom of cardstock.  Stamp “Just a Note” from Flourishing Phrases with Mossy Meadow ink, then run through Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I LOVE this new embossing folder — it gave my cardstock a soft touch of texture and blended everything together so well.

I LOVE how this card turned out and I hope you love it too.
Get that Stamparatus out and start using it — you are going to have so much fun.

Enjoy Life in Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape

I love the saying in the Enjoy Life stamp set – think of the precious privilege to be alive.  We really should all enjoy every minute of our lives.  I used two of the new colors for this Z-Fold card — Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.  I used the Sponge Brayer to add a little Highland Heather to the small Whisper White rectangles and then stamp the flowers and butterfly with Gorgeous Grape and the phrase is stamped with Memento ink.  A very soft and gentle reminder that life is precious.

Varied Vases with Share What You Love DSP

A beautiful combination – the Varied Vases Bundle and the Share What You Love designer paper.  The beautiful floral image on the designer paper coordinates so well with the flowers in the vases.  I used Mossy Meadow and Blushing Bride cardstock which blend together beautifully.
