Final Farewell

Last night I held a Final Farewell Class.  We focused on products that are saying farewell and retiring in just one week.  We had a great time using fun products to create four fabulous cards.  After we finished making the cards, we played the Saran Wrap Ball Game.  What a great time that was!  I took retiring accessories and wrapped them up in Saran Wrap.  The attendees had to wear oven mitts and unwrap the Saran Wrap ball to get the prizes while the next player rolled dice trying to get doubles and move the Saran Wrap ball to the next player.

We divided into two teams that each had a ball filled with prizes.  They enjoyed the game and got into it pretty good.

We’ll definitely do this again some time.

One of the cards we made used the Charming Cafe Stamp Set and Cafe Builder Thinlits.  It turned out great (thank you Jackie Bolhius for the inspiration).

Peaceful Reflection Sneak Peek

Are you getting excited for the new catalog?  It just a week away!!!  I wanted to give you a little sneak peek at an amazing stamp set – Peaceful Reflection.  At first glance I thought, hmmmm….what am I going to do with this set but just sit down for a minute and look at beautiful lines in this set — you are going to love it.  I have a sample from the display boards so you can see what I mean.

The base of the card is Thick Whisper White with a layer of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper.  The Whisper White layer is embossed with a new embossing folder — Stripe Scallops — gorgeous.  This is layered on Basic Black.

The images are stamped on Whisper White and color with an Aqua Painted and Old Olive and Petal Pink inks.
Just Breathe is from the Colorful Season stamp set — it is stamped with Memento and fussy cut with Paper Snips (I know that is a bit of a pain but look how adorable it is.

This card makes me want to go sit on a pier on a lake and just relax.  How are about you — do you feel calmer?

Varied Vases Meets Garden Impressions

I have another sneak peek for you from the Annual Catalog which begins June 1st.  This time it is the Varied Vases stamp set which is a $1,000,000 designed stamp set.  As a demonstrator, when you hit $1,000,000 in career sales you get to sit down with a Stampin’ Up! designer and help design and create your very own stamp set.  The Varied Vases stamp set was co-created by Mary Fish and it is a fabulous stamp set with a coordinating punch.

This card was on the display boards at On Stage and you are getting a few sneak peeks on this card:  the Varied Vases stamp set, the Garden Impressions Designer Paper and it looks like maybe one of the new colors – Mango Medley.

The designer used one of the retired doilies but you could easily replace it with one of the gorgeous new Pearlized Doilies.  This is a very sweet and simple card that is fabulous in my opinion.
