Fall Fest Was Amazing!!

Sorry, I’ve been absent from posting.  Yesterday was my Fall Fest Mini Day Retreat hosted with my daughter, Katie.  We had an amazing group of ladies that we spent the full day with making fabulous projects.  We made 12 cards, 2 of them were fun fold cards, 1 framed art piece and 3 treat holders.  Everyone also received a take home project of 9 cards to assemble at home using the Merry Little Christmas Memories & More Card Pack.

Katie does the displays and treats for the day.  Here is the wonderful display she did this year — I just love it (though it created some allergy issues for a few – sorry).

Fall Fest Display

At every stamping event, Katie has to take a selfie of the two of us.  It’s fun to see from event to event — I am a proud mama and I’m so glad she can join me with this.

Fall Fest, SelfieOver the next few days I will share a few of the fun goodies we gave out throughout the day,  I hope you come back to visit.

Spooky Nights Halloween Pages

I’ve said it before, I LOVE the colors of Halloween.  This year Stampin’ Up! did a fabulous job with Halloween products — fun stamp sets, amazing framelits & thinlits, a punch, great designer paper — everything we need for some great card and treat crafting.  I used some of these amazing products for this month’s scrapbook pages, just in time for fall and Halloween pictures.

The page on the left was cased with a few slight adjustments from Jennifer M (saw this on Pinterest).  The love all the details.  I added page 2 using the Eclipse technique — everyone talked about this last month so I promised we would do it.  If you haven’t tried this yet — you HAVE to — it is a blast.

The pumpkins on page one come from a sheet of the Spooky Nights designer paper and are cut out using the Patterned Pumpkin Framelit — that makes things so much quicker.  The cat is also from the designer paper and punched out using the Cat Punch.  My favorite element is the Copper Foil Pumpkin in the center which is also from the Patterned Pumpkins Framelits.

The Boo panel is the Eclipse technique.  We stamped the pumpkins and spider webs first, then cut out B O O with the Large Letter Framelits — keep inside pieces of the letters.  I stamped a few spider webs on the letters after they were cut out.  Next attach the Very Vanilla piece to the Black layer — use plenty of adhesive making sure to fill in spaces between letters so it sticks down completely.  Apply Foam Adhesive Strips to back of each letter, fit letters into opening.  Attach centers of each letter with snail or glue dots and tuck back inside the letters to fill the opening.

Merry Patterns – ‘Tis the Season

I shared the Merry Patterns stamp set with you a couple weeks ago.
You can’t purchase this stamp set but you can earn it FREE with a qualifying order/party.

Merry Patterns stamp set, Christmas, FREE
I am having a blast with this stamp set.  The candle images are gorgeous and I love the two step stamping with them — well actually the candles are three steps but so much fun.  Here’s a card we did at my Scrap & Go Club this month.

Merry Patterns stamp set, Be Merry designer paper, Tis the Season, Christmas
This card also uses the Be Merry designer paper (which is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE sale through Oct. 31st).  I stamped ’tis the season and the candle outline with Memento ink, then stamped the inside of season with Real Red ink.  The candles are Real Red and Garden Green (two separate stamps for the inside).  I added some pine boughs with Garden Green and a little bow from the Gold 1/8″ Ribbon.

I LOVE this stamp set — it could be yours FREE — just gather together orders from family and friends totaling $300 and you can be having fun with it like I am.
