Fall Fest Project 1 – Quilted Christmas Bundle

Sorry for no post yesterday — technical difficulties but they are fixed now, thank goodness.  It’s time to start sharing our projects from Fall Fest.  There won’t be any measurements as the people attending paid for the event and that just wouldn’t be fair to them.

Project 1 used the Quilted Christmas Bundle — Christmas Quilt stamp set and coordinating Quilt Builder Framelits.  However, we didn’t use the Quilted Christmas designer paper — instead we made fall cards using the Painted Autumn designer paper.

Fall Fest, Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, Quilt Builder Framelits, Painted Autumn Designer Paper, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, Touches of Texture Stamp Set

I would love to help you make this fun set of cards.  All you have to do is place a $50 order — I’ll mail you a kit to make all four cards (kit includes directions with pictures, pre-cut & scored cardstock, and adhesive sheets — everything except the stamps, framelits and ink).

Fall Fest Caramel Apple Bar & Treat Gifts

I forgot to share pictures of our Caramel Apple Bar for our Fall Fest dessert.

Fall Fest, Caramel Apple Bar

Katie wrote this adorable chalkboard sign.
We continued the fun fall theme with plate, napkins and gold forks.

I shared a picture of all the treat gifts they received throughout the day but I wanted to show each of them up close so you can see just how cute each item was.
We all love to get little surprise and delights don’t we.

Fall Fest, Paper Mug Treat Holder

This adorable paper mug is filled with a caramel popcorn mix with fall M & M’s and Rolos.  I love how “fancy” the mug it — it’s even sitting on a doily all fancy.  This was sitting with their Project Bag to greet everyone when they arrived at their seat.  These were pretty simple to make with some scoring and a few snips and strong adhesive to keep them together.  We used Garden Green cardstock and Painted Autumn designer paper (remember this designer paper is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Sale through end of this month).  We used Hug in a Mug stamp set for the adorable steaming mug and phrase.

Fall Fest, Sticky Note Holder, Merry Cafe Stamp Set, Painted Autumn Designer paper, Copper Trim

We had 14 brand new Fall Fest attendees this year.  They each received this adorable post it note holder.
Now they can remember the fun they had for a long time.

Mid morning it was time for a little treat.  We cased the fall rectangle box from fellow
demonstrator, Erica Cerwin.

A fun fall box with Pirouette Cookie Sticks inside — great with a cup of coffee or tea.
Cajun Craze is the base of the box.  We used another piece of the Painted Autumn designer paper.  The box and tag are stamped with the Painted Harvest stamp set.  The box is tied shut with the Jute Twine and we added little wooden leaves from the Touches of Nature Elements.

While everyone was eating we put these cute box holder cards at everyone’s work station.

Fall Fest, Painted Autumn designer paper, Clear Treat Box, Crumb Cake Ribbon, Scallop Oval Framelits

Thick Very Vanilla cardstock is the base of the card.  We added Painted Autumn designer paper — acorns and yellow stripe, even the pumpkins are cut from the designer paper.  We filled the Clear Treat Box with Fall M & M’s and slipped that into the opening cut in the card base.

Fall Fest Preparations

Fall Fest was lots of fun — a lot of work went into preparing for the once a year event.  I thought I would share a few of the getting ready pictures and a little sneak peek at a couple of the treats they received.

Fall Fest, Loading Bags

Katie is helping get the project bags loaded.

Here is their place setting with the project bag and a little mug filled with popcorn treats

The tables are all set up ready for everyone to show up.

Fall Fest, Lunch

We decorated the lunch tables with a fall theme too — clear lights down the center of the table, mini pumpkins, flower bunches — even the water bottles were decorated pretty.

Each place setting was so pretty and festive

Fall Fest, Project Bags & Gifts, Treat Holders

One last picture today — this is the project bag they received.  It had all kits for each project they did during the day along with a sheet of dimensionals (I’ll share the projects over the next few days).
I am sharing the little treats every received through out the day — the mug with popcorn mix inside, newbies received the post it note holder, the long box hold little pirouette cookies and the treat box card with
yummy M & M’s inside.

Come back tomorrow and see what projects they did.
