Fall — Project 4 — Merry Cafe Cards

We are at the half way point for the Fall Fest projects.  I hope you have enjoyed the first 3 projects.  Today I want to share Project 4 with you.  It is an assortment of cards using the Merry Cafe Stamp Set — 2 Halloween, 2 Fall and 2 Christmas cards.  I used an assortment of designer papers — one is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE sale that ends on Oct. 31 (Christmas Around the World).  The other two are fabulous papers from the Holiday Catalog — Spooky Nights and Merry Little Christmas.

I love all the color combinations.  This is such a fun stamp set to work with and the coordination Coffee Cup Framelits make it all quick and easy.

Here’s a close up of each card.

I love the chemistry beakers on this one.  You could tuck a little Starbucks gift card inside for an
extra special treat.

Now we move on to pumpkins and lovely green colors in the Merry Little Christmas designer paper.
The Wood Texture designer paper works great for the coffee cup.

How about a trip to the apple orchard — falling leaves and all.  I love the doily background

Fall Fest – Project 3 – Fun Fold Cards

Project 3 at Fall Fest was fun fold cards.  I love making cards that have different folds and with inspiration from fellow demonstrators we have a couple of great cards.  I love the elegance and sparkle of these two cards.  They are beautiful just like this but wait until you see them opened up.

Fall Fest, Fun Folds, Year of Cheer designer paper, Foil Snowflakes, Silver Foil Sheets, Gold Foil Sheets, Christmas

The card was cased from Lisa Curcio – it’s a corner fold with an adorable peek through window.

We used Cheers to the Year stamp set, Year of Cheer designer paper, Year of Cheer Washi Tape and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the Merry Christmas banner.

The card opens up and the inside background folds down flat (for the floor of the card) exposing the Merry Christmas greeting.  Isn’t this just adorable.

Now on to the second card.  I saw lots of this fun fold card last year and never got around to making it.
The template is just a little challenging so I had that part done for everyone but it is such a wow card.

I love the the sweet simplicity of this card — lots of glimmer and sparkle.
The Year of Cheer designer paper with the fun firework bursts roll with the Celebrate a Wonderful Year.
This card would be wonderful to wish a Happy New Year or how about a birthday card.
Wait until you see it opened up.

Tada — I love the movement of this card.  The center panel pops up when you open the card.
Lots of ohhhs and awwwwes when they saw this card.

Both of these cards have definite WOW factors for the person receiving them.
I hope you’ll give them a try.

Fall Fest – Project 2 — Fall Frame

Today we’re moving on to Project 2 from my Fall Fest Mini Retreat.  My customers all love to do framed art and of course I couldn’t disappoint them.  We did the Eclipse technique, which is the hottest thing right now — if you haven’t tried it yet, you absolutely have to try to.

Fall Fest, Fall Framed Art, Eclipse technique, Daisy Punch, Large Letter Framelits, Seasonal Layers framelits, Copper Foil Sheet

The picture fit into a 9″ x 9″ frame (I couldn’t get a good picture in the frame with the glass glare).
We used the Seasonal Layer Framelits for the leaves and little Crushed Curry flowers.
We punched two Crushed Curry Daisies — added a little Cajun Craze sponging to the center for a little depth.
The words are from Painted Harvest stamp set and then we added some stamped leaves to fill the cardstock.
We cut out F-A-L-L using the Large Letter Framelits and raised them with the Foam Adhesive Strips.
This is a fun technique — I haven’t done any Christmas lettering yet — I can’t wait to give that a try.

Stampin’ Up! has a new item coming out November 1st — I am very excited to share
this video about our new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.
