Merry Patterns – ‘Tis the Season

I am having a blast with this stamp set.  The candle images are gorgeous and I love the two step stamping with them — well actually the candles are three steps but so much fun.  Here’s a card we did at my Scrap & Go Club this month.

This card also uses the Be Merry designer paper (which is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE sale through Oct. 31st).  I stamped ’tis the season and the candle outline with Memento ink, then stamped the inside of season with Real Red ink.  The candles are Real Red and Garden Green (two separate stamps for the inside).  I added some pine boughs with Garden Green and a little bow from the Gold 1/8″ Ribbon.

Thank Goodness For You

Thank Goodness For You — what a wonderful greeting.  I want to say Thank Goodness For ALL of You.  Our temperatures here don’t show it but fall is here.  The colors are changing as we move from one season to the next — time goes by so fast.  We all need to stop and be thankful for everything and everyone that we have in our lives.

This wonderful greeting in the Gourd Goodness stamp set — such a beautiful fall stamp set.  It made me feel like an artist — very simple but the shading and highlights are done automatically when you stamp.  The Painted Autumn designer paper pulls in more fall colors.  I added a bow made from the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon (I cut the ribbon in half to make it thinner.  The Lots of Labels Framelits give the banners fun ends.

Snowflake Sentiments

Sometimes I struggle with keeping a card simple — I love layers (lots of layers).  I think I accomplished a simple card here but I did keep plenty of layers.  The featured items are the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper.  I added a little of the Vintage Crochet Trim for a bit of texture.
