Crafting Forever with Delightful Daisy

Today’s card has lots of new products.
I started with the Crafting Forever stamp set and then chose the Delightful Daisy designer paper.
Then I took my color combo from the designer paper — Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral.
I added the Garden Trellis embossing folder for some fun texture.

Relay for Life Stamping Fundraiser

Last night I held a stamping fundraiser for The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
We had a great time stamping together for a wonderful cause.
My friend, Donna Johnson, has a team and she has been raising funds over the past 9 years.
Her team is called Jeanne’s Angels!!!
Donna Johnson, Relay for Life, American Cancer SocietyDonna is the one in the green Relay for Life shirt.
I am proud to help her and my customers did a FABULOUS job last night.
Relay for Life, American Cancer Society
It was hard to get everyone into the picture — a few are missing here but you can see that they are having a great time — looks at those smiles.

They are busy stamping away – look at the concentration.
Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, Chocolate Covered Rice Krispie Balls
I even “played” Becky Homecky!!
I made chocolate covered Rice Krispie Balls — YUMMY!!!
I even found some In Color chocolate wafers — Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink.
Cupcakes, Relay for Life, American Cancer Society
And of course they MUST be chocolate at every stamping event.
Donna made these fabulous cupcakes — everyone enjoyed these treats.

We had a great time together and even better we were able to give Donna a $750 check for the American Cancer Society — Jeanne’s Angels.
I want to THANK everyone who attended and donated money, placed orders and everything else.
You are all amazing.
Donna — you are a wonderful person — I’ll be thinking about you walking all night long!!!

Happy Birthday Eastern Palace Style

A little fun trying out the new Happy Birthday Thinlit.
It’s a wonderful font that makes a simple card fabulous.

Happy Birthday Thinlit, Eastern Palace Specialty Paper
We simply added some strips of Eastern Palace Specialty Paper along with Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim for a fun background.  Next we used the Happy Birthday Thinlit to cut the greeting from Black cardstock and attached to the card front — we used the new Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets — works great.  For the final touch we colored some pearls black with a Sharpie marker.  Super simple but adorable — don’t you love it!!!
