Snowflake Sentiment with Christmas Around the World

I’m not really ready for snow but I do love the first snowfall.  The sparkle and glitter of fresh new snowflakes is so beautiful.  This card reminds me of that feeling.  I used Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Christmas Around the World designer paper.  I like the Basic Gray and Pool Party/Soft Sky color combination.  Just add a little Wink of Stella to a few snowflakes and you’ll get the pretty little sparkle I love.

Peace, Love and Joy for the Holidays

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite fun folds.  I love this gate door fold, it’s one of my favorites.  I used a stamp set from the Holiday Catalog that doesn’t get noticed as much.  Take a look at page 8 — Every Good Wish.  It has two watercolor style phrase images and great inside greetings too, add a few splotches and holly leaves are you have a quick, easy to assemble card.  I used one of my favorite designer papers, Christmas Around the World.

Measurem
Garden Green – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″ — cut out top section by cutting from top of card on the fold line down 2 1/2″.  Turn card 90 degrees and cut from fold to edge of card at 2 1/2″.  Save the cut out section for another layer

Christmas / Hand Made Cards

I Am Thankful For You

Now that November is here, I see a lot of people posting things they are thankful for.  This is such a great thing to do, life gets so busy and we truly don’t stop to say thanks for everything in our lives.  I don’t mean a fleeting  thought but to stop and really think about all the good things that happen to us and the good people that we come in contact with each and every day.  Today’s card says I Am Thankful for You!!!  I truly am thankful.  I have met so many wonderful people since I started my Stampin’ Up! business 13 1/2 years ago.  I am blessed  to know each and every one of you.

On to today’s card.  This card was a swap card made by Margie.  This card says fall to me.  The Early Espresso card base is accented with a layers of Crushed Curry that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Next another layer of Early Espresso and the flowers stamped on Very Vanilla with Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks with Early Espresso stamped centers.  The banner is stamped with Early Espresso ink.  Such a great simple card that is perfect for November.
