This Little Piggy & Fluffy Clouds

Another fun card from my Embossing Paste Class.  This was a fun card — gotta love that little piggy.  We used the clouds mask and kind of “gobbed” on the paste to create thick, textured clouds — so much fun.

layer cloud mask and apply Embossing Paste with Palette Knife
Powder Pink — 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
stamp ink with Memento ink — cut out with Paper Snips

I told you how much I loved using the embossing paste.  Here is another card we made — these little diamonds are so cute!!

Card Details:
Thick Whisper White — 4 1/4″ x 11″
Black — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Bermuda Bay — 3 3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White — 2″ x 3 3/4″, 2″ x 2″
3/8″ Black Shimmer Ribbon — 6″

Stamp heart with Archival Black stamp pad on 2″ x 2″ square
Color with markers — Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Powder Pink — cut out using Support Ribbon Framelits

Ink greeting with markers — Bermuda Bay and Black — stamp, centering it on Whisper White cardstock

Center diamond Pattern Party Decorative Masks over Bermuda Bay cardstock
Spread thin layer of Embossing Paste with Trowel – peel off mask and let air dry.
Assemble card as shown.

Sparkling Embossing Paste

Embossing Paste and Decorative Masks!!
I finally had a chance to play with the Embossing Paste and Decorative Masks — WOW, so much fun.
I really could have played ALL night creating lots of different looks.
I’m still suffering from time zone differences and had to plan for class so I had a little design help from my sister, Tina.  This card was fun and if you look close you can see the sparkle, we added Dazzling Diamonds to the Embossing Paste.

Thick Whisper White — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″
Early Espresso — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Calypso Coral — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Early Espresso — 1″ x 4 1/4″ — punch with Triple Banner Punch
Whisper White — 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ — punch with Triple Banner Punch
Calypso Coral 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon — 15″

Details:
1.  Stamp greeting with Calypso Coral ink
2.  Tie ribbon into a double bow — attach with Glue Dot
3.  Add Dazzling Diamonds to Embossing Paste — spread over Decorative Mask — pull away — look how it sparkles.  There are so many possibilities with this paste.
