Sending You Hugs

Earlier this week I shared a 4th of July card using the Lovely Inside & Out Stamp Set.
I used the same stamp set for today’s card with a completely different look.
Today’s card looks like a vase of tiny flowers being sent with a big hug.

Card Base — Calypso Coral — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″
Black — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Old Olive — 3 3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White — 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
Petal Garden designer paper — 3 1/2″ x 2″
1/8″ Calypso Coral Sheer Ribbon — tie a small bow in the center

You Dazzle Me

Oh My Goodness — what a fun card!!!
There were many, many card to find inspiration when I started playing.
My sister, Tina, did this card layout a couple weeks ago and I just loved
the “bedazzled” pocket to match the words.

Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set, Pocket Framelits, Sparkle Embossing Folder

Card Details:
Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set and Pocket Framelits
Card Base — Bermuda Bay — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″
Black — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Daffodil Delight — 3 3/4″ x 5″
Pool Party — 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ — emboss with Spark Embossing Folder

Pocket — Bermuda Bay — use Sponge Dauber with White ink and rub around very lightly — you are giving the paper a worn look like denim.  Stamp pocket and stitching lines with Memento.
Rub over pocket with Embossing Buddy — stamp words with Versa Mark and emboss with White Embossing Powder.  Add Rhinestones along top curved stitching

Sunglasses — stamp with Memento on Daffodil Delight cardstock — cut out with Pocket Framelits — add Rhinestones

Whisper White — stamp “for you” with Memento

I just love this card — so much fun!!

Sending Love & Hugs to You

The Ribbon of Courage stamp set has so many possibilities.
This is a stamp set that fellow demonstrator, Patti Bennett helped design
when she hit her Million Dollar Sales award.  It is such a pretty set and there is
a coordinating framelit too — Support Ribbon Framelits.
Patti designed a card and it was my inspiration for this card — I made a few
“Peggy” adjustments and it was a hit at class.  The Starburst Punch adds a fun look too.

Card Details:
Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set and Support Ribbon Framelits
Card Base — Thick Whisper White — 5 1/2″ x 6 3/4″ — score at 4 1/4″
stamp three large heart and two small hearts with Berry Burst ink
Berry Burst — stamp large heart with Berry Burst ink — cut out with Support Ribbon Framelits
adhere over center large heart
Berry Burst — 1″ x 5 1/2″ — punch with Decorative Ribbon Border Punch — glue to inside of smaller flap
Berry Burst — 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ — adhere on inside flap over ribbon border punch piece to give a clean look to inside of card — attach Pick a Pattern Washi Tape (1/4″ White with Black scallops) to decorate inside
Attach Black striped Washi Tape to bottom edge of front flap
Stamp small flowers along edge with Berry Burst ink
Whisper White — stamp words with Black — cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelits
Berry Burst — punch out with Starburst Punch
Black — cut out with Layering Circles Framelits

I think this card would be great to send for just about any occasion.
I know exactly who I’m going to send mine to today.
