Lovely Friends

There are so many new stamp sets — it’s hard to decide what to use next.
I recently played with the Lovely Friends set and found I really, really like this one.

Lovely Friends, Fresh Florals Designer Paper,
There are so many wonderful phrases in this stamp set.
Two of the phrases are large and I usually struggle with this style but this set
has been super easy to use and the cards are very stylish.

Birthday Delivery Happy Birthday

I love when you use different colors to create the same card.
You get a completely different card.
Today I’m sharing a card we made at my Relay for Life Stamping Fundraiser.

Birthday Delivery stamp set, Birthday Friends Framelits, Birthday Memories designer paper
It is the same card I shared a couple of weeks ago — I changed the designer paper — this time I used the Whole Lot of Lovely paper.

Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Paper

I pulled my color combo from the designer paper.

Here is the card I shared last week:

Don’t you love the different look in the cards.

Here are the supplies used on the new card:

Coffee Cafe Sneak Peek

A couple weeks ago I shared the Coffee Break Suite with you.
This is my FAVORITE suite in the new Annual Catalog (at least right now).
I have my Suite Surprise class this coming week but I wanted to give everyone a little sneak peek, so we made this card at Thursday night’s Relay for Life Stamping Fundraiser.
I saw a card on Pinterest (thank you Lyssa Z) and knew that it was a perfect sneak peek.
I love the Powder Pink and Smoky Slate color combo.
Stamping all those little hearts on the cup was a bit time consuming but it is SO ADORABLE!!
It also gave me the opportunity to use the new Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon — so, so pretty.

Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, Coffee Cups Framelits, Polka Dots Basic Embossing Foldere
Card Details:
Card Base — Powder Pink — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 5 1/2″
Smoky Slate — 4″ x 5 1/4″ — emboss with Polka Dot Basics embossing folder
(so happy to have polka dots again)
Powder Pink 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon — 3″ & 5″ — attach ends of 5″ piece to back of Smoky Slate
slip 3″ piece under ribbon and tie in a knot (cheater bow)
Powder Pink — 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
Whisper White — 2″ x 2 1/2″ — stamp greeting with Basic Gray ink
Whisper White — 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (I stamped all cut out pieces on this)
stamp coffee cup with Powder Pink — stamp hearts inside cup
stamp dome lid with Powder Pink – stamp whip cream twirl inside dome lid with Smoky Slate ink (this twirl doesn’t get cut out)
stamp whip cream twirl again with Smoky Slate ink (this one gets cut out)
stamp straw with Powder Pink ink
stamp “HI” with Powder Pink ink
Cut out all pieces using the Coffee Cups Framelits
Smoky Slate — cut out cup wrap with framelt
Assemble all coffee cup pieces — straw attaches to whip cream twirl in the dome lid and then the cut out whip cream goes over the top of the straw
Wrap Whisper White Bakers Twine around cup wrap
Thread two pieces of Whisper White Bakers Twine through “HI” tag and tie onto the twine on wrap around

SO ADORABLE — I can’t wait for Wednesday night’s Suite Surprise class using this whole suite.

How would you like a Suite Surprise “To Go” Kit — I would love to help you make some fun coffee cards – just send me an email and I’ll send you all the details.
