One more card using the Sealed with Love stamp set
and coordinating Love Notes framelits.
I love the Red and Black color combo.
I gave a little texture with the Falling Petals embossing folder
on the Black layer.
Then added the circles on a “falling” diagonal.
Don’t you just love the little love note and envelope.
Another fun project using the Sending Love designer paper
and the Love Notes Framelits.
I did a fun sucker holder at my Fall Fest Retreat
back in October and decided it was time for a fun
Valentine sucker holder. Thank you Erica Cerwin
for the fun design.
I started with a 4″ x 4″ square of Real Red cardstock
Use the Envelope Punch Board
Line the edge of the cardstock up at 1 3/4″, score along
the diagonal line and punch the top.
Turn the cardstock a 1/4 turn lining up the score line
with the point on the envelope punch board, score and punch.
Repeat this on all 4 sides.
Fold up to create an envelope.
Cut out a small “V” on the bottom of the envelope
for the sucker to go into.
Cut a Whisper White scallop circle using the
Layering Circles framelits
Punch a 2″ circle of Black cardstock
Using the Layering Circles framelits and the
Sending Love designer paper cut out a circle.
With a scrap of Whisper White cut out the “striped” heart
using the Love Notes framelit
With Black scrap cut out “love” using the Sunshine Wishes
thinlits
Last — slip sucker into holder and tie a ribbon around
the sucker stick
Oh My Goodness — I love today's project.
Last month I was planning a class using the
Sealed with Love stamp set.
I figured I would make cards and treat holders
for Valentine's Day…….
Well, that same day a stamping friend, Dawn Bourgette,
shared a framed art piece she was doing using this
stamp set and coordinating Love Notes framelits.
I knew right then that I "had" to do this for my class.
Dawn gave me permission to use her project.
I started playing with both the stamp set and the
framelits and switched my framed art up a bit
from Dawn's and I absolutely love it.
Thanks Dawn for the inspiration.
We definitely did a LOT of cutting at class.
Not a lot of supplies used –Real Red, Black, Whisper White
and the Sending Love designer paper pack were the
staples for the artwork.
