Dragonfly Coasters

Earlier in the week I held a kids Santa's Workshop Class.
The kids got to come and make 3 projects they could give
as a Christmas gift.

Their first project was a set of cork coasters.
Coasters

We used the new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.
This set is in the Occasions catalog that begins January 4th,
so you'll have to wait a bit but it is an adorable stamp set.
The kids stamped the dragonfly on the cork coaster with
Stazon ink — it's the only ink that won't run when it gets wet.

Once they stamped four coasters, they tied them up
with Watermelon Wonder striped ribbon.
Viola — they were done and ready for the next project.

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #10 Winner — Wendy — no cookies for Santa at her house anymore
but she used to help her kids prepare for Santa

Only two questions left!!!
Day #11 — there are a couple parts to it today.
Do you wrap Santa presents?
If yes, do you use special paper & tags.
If no, how do you put out the Santa presents?

Popcorn Box Christmas Treats

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #9 Winner — Robin — Yes, Santa comes to the adults too.

I have to say again how much I am enjoying our Twelve Days of Christmas.
I love learning how we all spend our holidays.
Thank you to those leaving comments.

Cheerful TagsI don’t know about you, but I am always looking for
cute small containers to put fun little treats in.
The Popcorn Box Framelit is the perfect answer.
I made this adorable little box in Christmas colors
(I used the Sponger Roller and Seasonal Decorative Masks
with Real Red ink).
I put treats in a small gusseted cello bag,
tied the bag with Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine
and added a tag cut using the Cheerful Tags framelits.

Day #10
Oh my, there’s only a couple days left.

Do you leave treats for Santa?
If yes, what kind of treats do you leave?
Also, how about Santa’s reindeer — treats???

Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek

Today I wanted to share a little sneak peek product from the Occasions Catalog coming out on January 4th.  Stampin' Up! has released a video introducing the Window Box Thinlit.
This product is truly beautiful.

If you are having trouble watching the video through email post,
just go directly to my blog — www.stampwithpeggy.com
and click on the picture in the post.

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #8 Winner — Gail D — you pack a lot of stuff into those two days.
We started our Christmas this past weekend at my parents' home.
My sister and both brothers were there along with their kids.
Both of my kids and their families were there.
We were missing one of my nieces and her family.

We work our own Christmas with our children and grand children around
everyone else.  This year my son and family are coming to our house (woot woot).
My daughter and family are much closer but they are staying over night Friday too.
We'll get up Christmas Eve morning and have our Christmas — presents, fabulous New York Strip Roast dinner and then we'll all go to church together.  I am truly looking forward to it.

I almost forgot Day #9
Does Santa still visit the grown ups in your house??

Some say Santa is just for kids.
Sara Douglass — Stampin' Up!'s CEO just explained the
Spirit of Santa to her youngest daughter and I thought
she did a GREAT job of explaining it.
We are all Santa's helpers in many ways but
especially when we think of others.
YES, Santa comes to the grown ups in my house — EVERY YEAR!!!
