One Final Christmas

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.
We celebrated the day with my husband's family.
Everyone was together except one brother and family in Arizona and my father-in-law who winters in Arizona.

The youngest one — my great niece — will be 1 next month.
She was dressed for the occasion.

We'll enjoy the decorations for a few more days and then put it all away until next year.
Now for me it's time to move on to a new catalog full of new stamping products.

Merry Christmas from the Murwins!!!

Merry Christmas to You and Your Family
from me and my family.
Christmas Eve Dinner
They are a crazy bunch but we have a fabulous time together
Friday night and all day Saturday.  My daughter, Katie and family
went back to their home (only 45 minutes away) so Santa could
come to their house Saturday night.
My son, Phillip and family stayed with us again Christmas Eve.
Evie Stocking
Here is our little Cindy Lou Who (Evie) putting
out her stocking before going to bed.
They are all ready for Santa to fill their stockings
here but he will leave their presents back in Minnesota
so they don't have to haul them around.
Lumberjack Shawn
One of the "hit" presents was this cute hat and beard
that my daughter-in-law, Jenny made for the boys.
We all thought these were hysterical.
Santa Tony
Tony was passing out the presents so they kids
all said he had to wear the Santa hat.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!
We have had a great one so far.
Today we go to my husband's family to celebrate.

Sanitizer Cute Packaging

Last Christmas season, someone posted on Facebook
how she carried little handmade items in her purse
when she was out holiday shopping.  We all get a bit
frustrated the closer it gets to Christmas.
She would hand out this little treats and things to
cashiers and people in the stores that seemed to
need a bit of Christmas cheer.  I loved this idea
so I did it while out shopping on December 23rd last year.
The receivers of these little items were so surprised
and pleased at this small gesture.

This was one that I gave out last year.
We made it at my Kids Santa's Workshop earlier this week.
Sanitizer Holder
Inside we tucked a little Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer.
Sanitizer Holder Side
We used a 2" x 11" strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock
which is scored at 5" & 6".  Each end of the strip
is punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
Then wrap a strip of designer paper around
(2" x 6 3/4" — score at 1", 3", 4", 6")
Cut out an Emerald Envy scallop circle
using the Layering Circles framelits.
The greeting is from Stitched with Cheer and
punched out with a 1 3/4" Circle Punch.

Twelve Days of Christmas

Day #11 Winner — Katie — they have special paper and tags from Santa
I grew up with Santa coming Christmas Eve — we got to see him and he left us a couple of presents — when we got up in the morning there was another present waiting for us under the tree (guess he forgot that in the first trip).  We never had special paper that I was aware of.  When I got married my husband wrapped a few Santa packages in special paper that wasn't part of our "regular" paper — I was so confused, I had never heard of this.
We all have our very own traditions and for me it is fun to see what my grown children and doing with and for their children.

Day #12 — I guess I got ahead of myself.
It's Christmas Eve Day!!!
What question do we have left……
What food do you always have to make for Christmas,
even if no one likes it anymore???
