Fall Fest – Project 3

Today I’m sharing Project 3 from Fall Fest.  It is a grouping of four different treat holders.  I love to give out treats and it’s more fun to gift those treats when they look pretty.
Treat Group
The first treat holder they made holds a Kit Kat bar or maybe even one of the big Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (right Tammy).
Kit Kat Holder
It’s just a fun little crisscross box decorated with the pretty Presents & Pinecones designer paper.  The stamp set we used for the whole group is a Hostess Exclusive stamp set — Holly Jolly Layers — everyone received this stamp set and the 3/8″ Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack as a fun “come on down” gift.
Gingerbread Sucker
I just love this sucker holder — made using the Envelope Punch Board.  Don’t you love these swirl suckers — I ordered them from Amazon.  So cute!!
Gum Holder
I love this treat holder — there’s a Bubalicious Gum package tucked inside.  Great to tuck into a stocking hanging on the fireplace, right.
Hot Cocoa Box
This cute little box has surprised everyone I show it to.  It is adorable just looking at it.
Hot Cocoa Box Top
There is a Keurig Hot Cocoa pod tucked into the top — and you can’t see the secret that is tucked into the box — a mini bag of marshmallows for your hot cocoa.  LOVE THIS ONE!!!

Tomorrow I’ll share our beautiful holiday table for lunch — so pretty.

Fall Fest — Project 2 — Mini Scrapbook Album

I love getting pictures of my grandchildren over the holidays, don’t you?
I especially like when I can take those pictures with me to show everyone how beautiful my four are!!!  I have just that special way to share those pictures.  Today’s project is the second project from my Fall Fest Retreat.
Scrapbook-Recipe Book
Don’t you love all the textures!!!  We used the Cable Knit embossing folder.  This is a heavy duty embossing folder called a Dynamic folder — it gives a great, thick impression.

Check out the pine needles and the wonderful pine cones.  You just have to touch them, they almost look real.  The red bow and the adorable tiny pine cone embellishment add the finishing touch.
Scrapbook Inside
Sorry for the glare off the envelope — I tuck Garden Green and Real Red cardstock inside the envelopes so it is ready to add those cute pictures that you want to share with everyone.

Another great idea for this cute album — put your favorite holiday recipes inside and share it with your friends.  What a special gift for a grandma to give to her granddaughter.  I know my daughter would love some of those special grandma recipes that she has made with my mom.

Project 2 is complete — come back tomorrow to see Project 3.

Fall Fest Project 1

Yesterday I gave you just a quick look at Fall Fest.  Now let me show you a bit more.

Katie & I
This is Katie — she is one of my team members but she is also my daughter.  I could not have made it through this event without her.  Katie did all of the decorating items — the things I call "frew, frew"!!  I love how those things look, I just never have enough time to get them done.  This time that wasn't a problem, Katie jumped right in and what a GREAT job she did.
Table Setting
I showed you the whole table row of place settings — here's a picture a bit closer.  They had a Christmas gift box all tied with red ribbon and a bow with an ornament on the top.  She used candy canes for their place cards which are decorated all pretty and then she made jars with canning jar lids and our Stampin' Up! window sheets.  She filled the jars with popcorn coated with white chocolate and M & M's and sprinkles.  The jars were, of course, decorated with the same red color them.  The ladies were thrilled when they got to their seats.
Name Tags & Table Centerpieces
Here's a close up of our name tags and the fabulous table centerpieces that she made — I loved these.
Newbee Gift
I had quite a few ladies that had never attended my Fall Fest event before — well I wanted to be sure they felt very welcome so they all received this cute little box (thank you for the inspiration Erica Cerwin).  Inside the box are a couple of Ghiradelli chocolates.
Paid in Full
I wanted to reward some select ladies so Katie made up these wonderful nugget holders — don't you love the tag — go ahead, tear it open.

Ok, I'll share some more of the delights later, let's move on to the first project they made.
Fall Frame
This wonderful piece of framed art (I took the picture out of the frame so you wouldn't get a glare from the glass).  It is perfect for the fall season.  We used the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set along with Suite Season for the greeting, Sprinkles of Life for the tree and little leaves, Spooky Fun stamp set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits and the Paisleys & Posies stamp set and Paisleys framelits.  Everyone was very pleased with their creation and I know they planned to go home to hang them up (yes, they did receive the frame for their picture).

Come back tomorrow to see more of the fun.
