Santa’s Sleigh

I have a Scrap & Go Hostess Club — we get together each month and make a double 12″ x 12″ spread for each month of the year.  We don’t meet in December and January (time to enjoy all the holiday festivities with family & friends), so when we start in February we make one page for January (the first page in the book) and two pages for February.  Then in November, our last class, we make two pages for November and then one page for December.  At the end of the ten month commitment you have a scrapbook to cover the whole year — it makes a great gift.

Here is the final page of this year’s album — Christmas of course.
Santa's Sleigh
We used Santa’s Sleigh stamp set and the matching Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits.  The Whisper White square was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  We used Greetings from Santa stamp set for the Whisper White strip across the center.  Don’t forget that is one of the stamp sets that is on sale for only $14.25 through November 30th.

I love how this turned out — it is all set to add those holiday pictures.

Paisleys & Posies Scrapbook Pages

I’ve had fun lately playing with the Paisleys & Posies stamp set.  This set worked great for my November scrapbook pages.
Paisleys Page 1

I stamped random paisleys & posies all over Pumpkin Pie 12″ x 12″ cardstock
I added 4 1/4″ squares of Soft Suede in each corner and attached 4″ squares of Delightful Dijon.  For the center square — I used Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze and stamped all over a 4″ square of Very Vanilla cardstock.  This is attached to a 4 1/4″ square of Soft Suede and attached with dimensionals.  I cut out a Soft Suede scalloped oval using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  I stamped greeting with Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla and cut out using the new Stitched Shapes framelits — I love the added texture.
Paisleys Page 2
I continued with the same these on the second page with random paisleys and posies.  I enjoyed making my own designer paper with this stamp set.

As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I would buy it.  This is a card I received in a swap at OnStage last weekend.  It brought a smile to my face and I am happy to share it with you today.
