Fall Fest 2016

Yesterday was my Fall Fest — this is a day long retreat where we spend time with friends and stamp a bunch of projects.  It was a GREAT day enjoyed by all.  We were all exhausted when the day finished — I worked them pretty hard but I think they all agreed it was so worth it.
Table Settings

This picture shows one of the rows of tables for the stampers and the supply box that was there ready for them to arrive.  We wrapped white photo boxes with Real Red ribbon and added a cute Star Tag.  We had a placecard for each person and a beautiful floral arrangements for each table.

Isn't this just adorable.  I have lots more to share with you but I'm posting this just a couple hours after we finished the day and I AM READY for bed!!

Red & Gray Star of Wonder

Here's another beautiful card using the Star of Light stamp set and the Starlight Thinlits.  This time I added a piece of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and what a beautiful addition it was.

As I'm prepping this post I am putting the finishing touches on items for my Fall Fest Retreat.  In just a few short hours I'll be spending the whole day with 24 wonderful woman making lots of projects.  I can wait to open the doors and share what we did with all of them.  I hope you come back tomorrow to see what we did.  Here's a little sneak peek of some of the prep work we did tonight.

Star of Light Double Z-Fold

I love cards with different folds.  I have done the double z-fold before but when I saw BJ Peters card I knew that I had to try this one too.  The Star of Light stamp set and coordinating Starlight Thinlits are perfect for this card.

Card Directions:
1.  Card Base — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
2.  Silver Foil Sheet — 1″ x 11″ — score 2 3/4″ and 5 1 /2″
3.  Night of Navy — 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
     Stamp Merry Christmas and Star with VersaMark and heat emboss with Silver embossing powder.
4.  Left Panel — Night of Navy — 2 1/2″ x 4″
5.  Marina Mist — 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″
     Cut out small elegant star
6.  Silver Glimmer Paper — cut out the same small elegant star
7.  Middle Panel — Marina Mist — 2 1/2″ x 4″
