You’re a Genius!!

Can you believe it’s Monday already?
This weekend flew by.
We had our two older grandsons
for the weekend.
We had them help cook dinner on
the grill Friday night.
Saturday we had a family reunion
and then on to a graduation party
in the early evening.  Yesterday we
started with church and out for
breakfast, then took them to see
Finding Dory movie.  We ended
the weekend with a nice family
dinner.  Not it’s back to the work
week as we prepare for the
holiday weekend and camping
with more family.

Today’s card was one of the cards we
made earlier this month at my
Relay for Life Fundraiser.

The stamp set is
Painter’s Pallette.
I love this greeting.
It’s so different from any
greeting we’ve had before.EaselThe card base is Peekaboo Peach.
I embossed the front using the
Sparkles embossing folder.
I added a strip of the Playful Palette
designer paper across the center.
I stamped the art easel on
So Saffron with Stazon ink.
I used the Layering Squares
framelits to cut the center of the
easel out.  I laid Whisper White
cardstock under the So Safron
and stamped the greeting
with Stazon ink in the opening.
I stamped little splotches with
Peekaboo Peach ink.
The stamped White layer is
attached to the black layer.
The So Saffron layer is attached
over the White stamped piece
with dimensionals.

Merry Christmas???

Here is the final card from June’s
Stamp of the Month Class
which featured the Ronald McDonald
House stamp set My Hero.
Our final card uses the Christmas
greeting.  This is great as I start
to plan for Christmas in July.

ChristmasThe base is Cherry Cobbler with a layer
of Gold Foil Cardstock, then a layer of
Garden Green that is embossed with the
new Holly embossing folder,
I added a strip of the This Christmas
specialty designer paper that is attached
to Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I used the Tags & Labels framelit
to cut out Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
and Garden Green tabs.
I stamped the greeting on Vanilla
with Cherry Cobbler ink.
These are attached to each other
and then attached to the card with
dimensionals.  I added a bow from
the new 1/4″ Natural Trim – Gold.
Last I added a 1/2″ Cherry Cobbler
banner at the top and added three
gold circles from Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Happy Halloween??

Happy Halloween?
I know it’s a bit early for Halloween
but the Ronald McDonald House stamp set
called My Hero has a pumpkin stamp
that is just right for today’s quick card.

Halloween

The card base is Black with a layer of
Old Olive that is embossed with the
Sparkles embossing folder.
I added a 2 1/2″ x 4″ strip of the
Pumpkin Pie diagonal stripe
designer paper (Brights).

I used the Triple Banner Punch for
the Black and Pumpkin Pie banners.
I punched one end only on the Black
and both ends of the Pumpkin Pie.

The pumpkin is stamped with
Pumpkin Pie ink and punched out
with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch.
Then I added different circles
to add dimension.
