Moroccan Night – Let’s Celebrate

I love when I can "reuse" a
card layout.  This short fold
layout is one of my favorites.
I used the Moroccan Nights Designer Paper
for my color scheme and the
Moroccan Nights stamp set
for the images —
another great masculine card.

Lanterns
The card base is Emerald Envy and
I added layers of Early Espresso.
I put a piece of the Emerald Envy
Ruched Ribbon across the
designer paper and did a cheater
bow — tuck the piece of ribbon
under the one across the center
and tie a knot — sweet & simple.

I stamped all three lanterns
with Emerald Envy and stamped
Let's Celebrate with Early Espresso.

Father’s Day 2016

What a wonderful Father's Day
weekend we had.
Our daughter and son
 and their families planned
a surprise birthday/Father's Day
for my husband Tony.
We all went out for lunch
Saturday and back to our house
for a little guitar playing and singing.
We practice in the air conditioned
house but around 5:00 headed outside
for a campfire and Tony played the
new guitar that Katie & Scott
gave him.
Tony Guitar
Phillip & Jenny and kids stayed
overnight with us so grandpa
helped them put together a puzzle
and played trouble with them before
they headed back to Minnesota
Tony & Kids
Then we packed up and headed to
my sister's to have dinner with
my dad & mom and brother
and sister-in-law.

I hope you all had a fabulous day.

Snappy Birthday

Pun Intended is a fabulous
new stamp set that is a
Hostess Exclusive Set.
It's one that everyone loves.
The camera and "Snappy Birthday"
greeting make this a birthday card
that every teenager would love to
receive.

CameraThe base of the card is a new
In Color — Sweet Sugarplum.
I added layers of Black,
Rich Razzleberry and White.
I stamped the camera with
Memento ink and cut out
all three circles using the
new Layering Circles Framelits.
I also added a piece of the
Playful Palette Washi Tape

across the center.
