You Brighten My Day — Part 2

Yesterday you saw the first 3 cards from this retreat project.  Here are the other 3 cards that we made.
Stars & StripesThis first card is Stars & Stripes — again we used the Irresistibly Yours DSP and sponged the stripes with Real Red ink.  The Real Red card base is embossing with the Lucky Stars embossing folder.  We stamped three stars with Night of Navy ink and punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents Star Punch.  After the stars are attached to the card front we added the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers — I love the dimension these stickers give your card.
Stripes & Light BulbThis fun, cheery card also used the striped dsp but this time we colored the stripes with markers — Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana.  A little time consuming but so cute.
Hearts & LoveThis card makes a great anniversary or wedding card or just to tell someone you love them.

You Brighten My Day

Are you ready to see the projects we did at retreat?  Friday night we started with a stamp set that everyone received — You Brighten My Day.  We made a set of 6 cards and most of the cards also featured the Irresistibly Yours DSP from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.
Way to GoThe first card uses the Star Irresistibly Yours DSP which we sponged with Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight ink.  We cut the stamp that was three stars apart so we could stamp them just a little further apart.  After we stamped the three stars we added Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers over the stars — so cute.  Everyone received a package of the Epoxy Stickers that they used on other cards too.

Cantaloupe ThankfulThis card is so soft and sweet.  This time the DSP has the Fancy Fan print on it that we sponged with Calypso Coral ink that is darker at the top and gradually gets lighter at the bottom.  Don't you love when there is a punch to coordinate with the stamp — the Note Tag Punch worked great for this card.
Purple HouseDid someone you know recently move away — this card would be perfect.  The flowers are the Irresistibly Yours DSP this time.  We sponged Rich Razzleberry ink on this piece.  We cut the heart stamp apart, just like the stars, and added some more Epoxy Stickers.  The house was punched out using the What's Up? Punch.

Come back tomorrow to see that last three cards from this set.

Easter is getting closer

Stampin' Sisters Retreat is over….it's time to move on to Easter.  Can you believe that Easter is less than a month away.  Spring is starting — I won't say it's here yet because we all know we can be fooled very quickly.  The temps are starting to climb a bit during the day — almost 50 yesterday and today.

Here's a fun Easter card we made at Stamp & Go Club last week.
Happy Easter BunnyI just love this fun Happy Easter Bunny stamp.  It definitely looks like spring to me.  He is dancing and jumping around.  I stamped him in Memento ink and colored in with markers.  Did you see his puffy tail — I cut a pompon off the trim and added with glue dots for his tail.  The designer paper is the fabulous Best Year Ever DSP from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog — FREE with a $50 order (but only through the end of March).  Did you get yours yet?
