Birthday Balloons

It’s time to celebrate your birthday with
a bouquet of BALLOONS.
We all like a little surprise, right!!!
Check out these sparkling balloons.
So quick with a punch and some Silver Glimmer paper.

This was a swap card I received from Linda Olson.
Basic Black for the card base with a layer of It’s My Party
designer paper.  The corners were rounded on the bottom
of both pieces.  Stamp “happy birthday” with Memento ink
on Whisper White cardstock and punch with the
Washi Label Punch.  Punch balloons using the
Balloon Bouquet Punch and Black cardstock,
Silver Foil and Silver Glimmer Paper.

Such a quick card and can be changed up
with different designer paper prints
and different balloons.

Do More of What Makes You Happy

Do More of What Makes You Happy!!
Isn’t that a perfect saying.
Now if we would just all follow it the world
might be a better place.
This was another swap card I received from
Betty Saccocia.  It uses the Botanical Gardens designer paper.
This designer paper has lots and lots of flowers
and it has a coordinating stamp set — Botanical Blooms.
It is so cool — you can use the stamp set to
stamp right on the designer paper.
Betty didn’t do it on this card but you could use
the fern stamp with Mossy Meadow ink and fill
in the lines on the ferns — so cool and gives you
a completely different look.

Betty SoccociaThe card base is Black 4 1/4″ x 11″.
Add a piece of the designer paper 4″ x 5 1/4″.
Use the Circle Collection Framelits to cut out
Cajun Craze and Mint Macaron circles. 
Stamp the words from Hello Life with
Black ink.  Stamp the butterfly on Mint Macaron
with Black ink and cut out with Paper snips.
Color the butterfly in with So Saffron marker
and add a little Wink of Stella (love that stuff).
