Spring Happy Anniversary

It’s still winter — in fact, it is snowing here in
northern Illinois tonight but I thought it was
a great day for some spring flowers.
This is a great color combination — Pear Pizzazz
and Watermelon Wonder.
The stamp set, Number of Years, is amazing.
There is lots of texture but the card is very
quick to stamp and assemble.
I make my card an anniversary card, all you have
to do is change the words and you have a
whole new card — great for birthdays too.
Happy AnniversaryThe card base is Pear Pizzazz with a layer of Whisper White
that I embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder.
I stamped Happy Anniversary in the lower corner of
another Whisper White cardstock and attached to a
piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock.
I attached a 1/2″ strip of Watermelon Wonder
cardstock on the left side right against the other
cardstock.  I used the Circles Collection Framelits to
cut out the Watermelon Wonder circle and the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch
for the Whisper White circle.
I used Pear Pizzazz and Watermelon Wonder inks
to stamp the flowers, the lighter flowers are stamped off.
The final touch — a little Gold Wink of Stella
added to the center of each flower.

In the Meadow

Here’s another GREAT masculine card or it’s perfect
for the outdoors person in your life.
The stamp set used is In the Meadow and it
can be found in the Occasions Catalog.
I love the soft look of this card.  It’s colored in,
but is quick and easy — not a lot of fussing.
I received this card in a swap I participated in.
It was made by fellow demonstrator Karen Titus.
In the MeadowThe card base is Whisper White with a layer
of Mossy Meadow that was embossed using the Striped
embossing folder.  She added a strip of Washi Tape on
the left side of the card.
She used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut a circle
from Gold Foil Paper and Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp the deer with Stazon Ink and color in
with Soft Suede ink and an Aqua Painter or
Blender Pen (which you prefer to use).
I think the simplicity of this card is perfect.

Enjoy the Little Things

Winter in the midwest means we don’t get a lot of sunshine.
Even when there isn’t snow, most days it’s just gray outside.
Today’s card brings a bit of sunshine using the
Sunburst Thinlit Die.
The stamp set used is Enjoy the Little Things.
Which to me is what I do when the sun is shining — enjoy that
little bit of sunshine.
Enjoy Little ThingsThe card base is Basic Black.
The sunburst is cut from Bermuda Bay cardstock.
A  2 1/2″ circle of Gold Glimmer paper is attached under
the sunburst.  Enjoy the little things is stamped on
Basic Black cardstock with VersaMark ink and
White Embossing Powder.  Punch this out with
the 2″ Circle Punch and attach over sunburst
with dimensionals.
Don’t forget to add a layer of Whisper White
inside the card to write your message on.
