Rose Wonder You’re in My Thoughts

Today’s card was fun to make.
It’s a great card to send to anyone to let them
know you are thinking about them or
it’s also a beautiful sympathy card if you need one.
I cased this card from one I saw that was made by Connie Babbert.
Thanks for the inspiration Connie.
Thoughts & PrayersI used the Rose Wonder stamp set on this card.
The base is Bermuda Bay (I love this color) 4 1/4″ x 11″ — scored at 5 1/2″.
Then a layer of Pool Party 4″ x 5 1/4″ — I embossed this with the
Elegant Dots embossing folder.
I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out a
Whisper White circle.  I stamped You’re in My Thoughts & Prayers
with Memento ink.  I used the little flower from
Number of Years stamp set and Watermelon Wonder ink
to add a few little flowers on the circle.

I stamped the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink
on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and cut out with Paper Snips.

I stamped the small flower from Rose Wonder three times
with Watermelon Wonder ink on Blushing Bride cardstock.
These flowers are cut out with Paper Snips.

Then I stamped the flower three more times on
So Saffron cardstock with Watermelon Wonder ink
and cut out with Paper Snips.  I cut out just the
small center of the flowers.  I attached these
little flowers to the Blushing Bride flowers
with a double layer of Glue Dots.

Don’t forget to addPerfect White Accents
to the center of the So Saffron flowers.

This card definitely makes me think of Spring.

Rose Wonder Thank You

I just love this Rose Wonder stamp set.
Yesterday’s card was just fun — bright & cheer.
Today’s card is a little more serious.
I can’t wait to mail this out to a customer
for placing an order.
Thank YouI started with a Basic Black base —  5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — scored at 4 1/4″
I added a layer of Melon Mambo — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Next is a layer of Shimmery White — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ (I love this cardstock)

I stamped the large flower/leaf image with VersaMark ink
and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder.
I used Sponger Daubers to add the inks to the
rose (Melon Mambo) and the leaves (Pear Pizzazz).
It glides over the Shimmery White cardstock.

On a scrap of the Shimmery White cardstock I also
stamp the label and Thank You with VersaMark and
embossed with the Black Embossing Powder.
The label is cut out using the Rose Garden Thinlits which
coordinate with the Rose Wonder stamp set.
This label is great for lots of different stamp sets.

I added Rhinestones on each side of Thank You
and attached the label to the card with dimensionals.

I also added a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to the
inside of the card and stamped three of the small flowers inside.

Rose Wonder Hello

Last night was my Stamp of the Month Class.
This month everyone received the Rose Wonder stamp set.
These could add the coordinating Rose Garden Thinlit
and choose a FREE Sale-a-Bration item too.
I tried to do different techniques with this stamp set.
The sayings in the set are fabulous — I love the font!!
I did a bit of Pinterest searching and found this
fabulous layout — I adjusted a little bit to make
this one mine (I am so sorry, I forgot to make note
of the original designer.  I was so excited with it — sorry).
Hello FlowersI started with a Melon Mambo base — 4 1/4" x 11" — scored at 5 1/2"
Basic Black layer — 4 1/8" x 4 3/4"
Whisper White layer — 4" x 4 5/8"

I used the Memento Black stamp pad to scatter flowers all
over the Whisper White layer.
Then I used the "blotch" from Work of Art stamp set to
fill in the flowers with:
Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry
(I stamped off with the Crushed Curry to get a lighter shade)

I added It's My Party Enamel Dots to the flower centers.

I used Hello You Thinlits to cut out HELLO
from Basic Black cardstock and attached to the
card front with Fine Tip Glue.

I love the colors and brightness of this card
and Hello leaves it open for many occasions.
