Just for You Flowers

Have you checked out the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets yet?
The Botanicals for You set is a fabulous set.
You can make quick cards that are gorgeous.
This is a card I received in a swap last week.
It was made by fellow demonstrator, Karen Reed.
I love the different textures she added.

The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Blackberry Bliss.
Then she added a layer of Smoky Slate that was embossed
with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.
She wrapped some Black Baker’s Twine around three
times and tied a bow — so cute.
She stamped the “Just for You” with Blackberry Bliss ink on
a Whisper White oval and then punch out some
Pink Pirouette flowers using the
Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
Don’t forget to add some Rhinestones in the center of
the flowers. 
So quick and easy but the recipient will love it.

Valentine Scrapbook Pages

Tuesday night was my Scrap & Go Hostess Class.
I love to make pages to coordinate throughout the year
and this month we made February pages — great for
Valentine’s Day pictures but also just cute backgrounds
for any pictures of loved ones.
Here’s the first page.

PicMonkey Image Febuary page 1The base of the page is 12″ x 12″ Blushing Bride cardstock.
I added an 8 1/2″ x 11″ Basic Black and then
8″ x 10 1/2″ of Whisper White.
I used the Bloomin’ Love stamp set to stamp
the flowery heart with Rose Red ink.
Also the little open hearts and the “love is in the air” at
the top of the page.  I punched out a bunch of hearts
from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper, Love Blossoms designer paper
and Rose Red cardstock using the Sweetheart Punch.
I added some Black Baker’s Twine for “heart balloon” strings and
a bow for hold the bouquet together.

Everyone was very pleased with their pages.
I can’t wait to take pictures of my grand kids this weekend
to add to the pages.
You gotta love the memories — print those pictures out.
You just never know when our technology items will break
and there goes all your pictures.  Don’t let that happen!!!

January Scrapbook Page

My monthly scrapbook class (Scrap & Go) started last night.
It was great to have ladies return from last year and
fabulous to have some new ladies join the fun.
We get together once a month and everyone makes
two 12″ x 12″ scrapbook pages.  This month they
got to make 3 pages — one for January and then
two more for February.  Today’s page for January
was inspired by fellow demonstrator Julie Brancart.
I love the gold and black combination.
PicMonkey Image - JanuaryWe started with a 12″ x 12″ Basic Black cardstock.
Next we added an 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ piece of Whisper White.
The lower right corner I added Black cardstock — 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.
I used the Gold Glimmer paper and the Large Numbers Thinlits
to cut out 2016.  I punched a bunch of black and gold stars.
The larger stars were attached with Dimensionals.
The small starts are attached with glue dots.
